"Why can we only leave a 5 star rating? Christopher and crew exceeded our expectations for our restoration project. Our project was to replace the decorative wrap on the 16 foot support columns on the entrance porch at the front of our house. The original wrap was 20 years old and parts had begun to rot. During the bid process Christopher suggested that we replace the wooden wrap with a Hardy plank type material that would last longer than wood. (the original wood wrap was painted). During the removal of the original wrap we noticed that the wrap framing was fairly lightweight, just enough to give the wrap something to be nailed to. Christopher removed the lightweight framing and installed a stronger frame. The new wrap that was installed looks considerably better and richer. The attention to detail, down to the router work on decorative panels, is impressive. Christopher was very responsive to our questions and every day they left the worksite spotlessly clean."

I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. Overall satisfied with the job and cost was 60% of other bids due to sheathing adjustment."

Marshall Painting was very accommodating with my schedule and the price was very reasonable. It took them a fraction of the time to do the rooms and stairway, whereas it took me 4 days for one room. While I had wasted time second guessing myself or trying to cover up crayon on the wall, they were experienced and got it right the first time instead of wasting time and effort like me. They painted the bedroom doors and trim I was sure we'd have to replace and patched up some holes in the walls. They were methodical in their set-up and clean up, so no paint drips or flecks anywhere (unlike myself). I felt comfortable with them in my home, friendly but not overtly to the point of awkward conversation that I worry about whether I'm paying them for that time or not.
