This team works miracles! Where other contractors were quoting me 30-40% higher prices and estimating work times up to a month, three or four months down the road, Aaron and his crew fit me in their summer schedule and delivered a gorgeous deck with plenty of add-ons (like waterproofing underneath) in just 9 days of work. Aaron is personable, provides excellent advice on materials and aesthetics, is honest and negotiates with ease. He’s the real deal, not the salesman sent out by a big company that will nickel and dime every decision. Best, he believes in delivering excellent results, and it shows. My quality of life just got better thanks to this incredible new deck!

Aaron is an absolute professional. We hired Black Diamond Construction to complete a very complex 2nd story deck that was no easy task. The decking material, lighting, and railing we had installed was above and beyond what we expected, Aaron’s knowledge for deck building and ideas gave us the back yard we always wanted. His crew was very nice to work with and the job site was always cleaned at the end of every day. If you’re looking a professional, look no further.

Aarron was super knowledgeable and honest with expectations for what they could do and what it would take to get to the desired end result, also super fair priced some of the other companies offering the same products and expectations where quoting 2-3x the cost. The crew did an absolutely phenomenal job, they were super friendly and approachable for questions while maintaining excellent professionalism, and the end result surpassed our expectations by leaps and bounds even with some of the different and potentially difficult requirements with our house being as old as it is (1957). They were replacing our old deck and we feel like this new deck looks amazing and the style and materials matches our house PERFECTLY!!!

Their bid was way more reasonable than the others. They removed the rotten deck and rebuilt and reinforced the underside. Replaced with Trex decking. Took less than 2 days and looks beautiful. Quick, clean and respectful of the surroundings. I would recommend them.

The deck is beautiful and very sturdy and they were done within 3 weeks and the workers were great. There were a few hiccups, which Aaron took care of and we are very thankful for. He also gave us a military discount and other discounts for which we are appreciative of. Things we learned are to make sure you see on the bid what color your deck will be if you use composite Trex decking. And my only disappointment in this process are the stairs - they are sound construction wise but are very narrow - we had to lift a chair above the rails to walk on the stairs with it. We were told that to make them wider that they had to take 8 inches off the deck or make them narrower and my husband didn't want to lose deck space so agreed but for the money we spent on this deck I don't know why they couldn't have used the space (opposite the deck) into the yard to make them wider. I would recommend this company to others just make sure you have colors and dimensions listed on the bid.

Quote and actual cost was half of other quotes. Our old deck was over 25 years old. We had rotting wood and the entire structure was taken down. The new deck was built from the ground up. I was really impressed with how strong the structure supporting the deck was built. We chose Trex decking and are very pleased. The workers were very efficient and quick. Aaron was always available to responded to all my questions. Best decision ever to go with Black Diamond Construction. We really appreciated the military discount and the professionalism of the team. The clean up after the project was perfect.

The guys that were sent over to do the work were amazing. Just two of them did all the demolition and building of the new deck. Aaron, the project manager showed up every now and then making sure everything was OK and seeing if we had any questions. Would definitely hire them again for a project of this magnitude. Period.

Black Diamond was able to schedule and complete construction of our new deck within a few weeks of hiring them. Weâ ve been very pleased with the quality of the build and the overall deck.

Some of my bids were more than twice what I paid Black Diamond. I was ready to give up and try doing it myself when they showed up to offer me a doable bid. They were quick clean and very precise. I feel blessed to have found them. Chris Cayton
