Fast workers - not as detail-oriented as we needed for our hardwood floors and kitchen trim We hired Northwest Builders & Renovation to demolish a wall between two rooms, paint our LR, DR, kitchen, and a hallway. We also had them patch a section of wet lath & plaster, replace some baseboards, and hang a chandelier. (About $15k) They finished the majority of the work in 4 days - very fast! They were much less expensive, too, and we learned why later. They wanted to use laminate to finish (as the contract said) our hardwood floor patch from where the wall was. We have almost 100-year-old oak hardwood floors. When they said labor and materials are include in the bid, we should have asked which materials they planned to use. To finish a hardwood floor to them meant using laminate or engineered hardwood flooring, not real wood for hardwood flooring, AND to patch it in (leaving a line), not to weave it in as we wanted to blend it. Read between the lines to know the bid.

Northwest Builders installed a new roof for us, and we are incredibly pleased with the outcome. The salesman was friendly, informed, and not at all aggressive during the first exchange. Our roof was completed in a single day thanks to the hard work and diligence of Moshe and his crew, who also left our driveway and yard in a neater state than when they arrived. We were kept informed of every stage of the installation process through pictures. 10/10!

Because of the roofs size and complexity, the installation took little over a day to complete. The cleanup went well. Its simply not reasonable to expect to have every nail collected. Throughout the installation, all queries and problems were resolved, and there was good communication. Not to mention, the new roof looks fantastic! Highly recommend this company to everyone.

Moshe and Jordi worked on my deck last summer. They were very communicative and I was very happy with the results. A few days ago one of the railing boards got damaged. I called them to ask if we can activate the Trex warranty to have it replaced, Tommy said that the warranty process will take too long and it's just one piece. They showed up the next day and replaced it with no additional charge! I am very satisfied with my decision hiring NW builders & Renovation and will be going to them with all future projects!

The quick response to check my leak the same day I called amazed me. Then, when I assigned them the task, they responded quickly enough to accommodate the inclement winter conditions. Tom, the person who fixed my repair was really kind and professional. He went above and beyond what was possibly required to make sure the repair was done correctly to prevent repeat calls. Ben completed the last installation of the shutters and continued to supervise until the final three were hung! Even though it was constructed in 1989, our house still appears brand new! I phoned Northwest Builders and Renovation to come out and inspect a leak on our roof. They made an appointment to look at it the next day. They arrived on schedule, assessed what was required, and presented a quote that I accepted. The next day, they repaired the problem. The service was prompt and friendly. I,d have to say that the staff and work team were the most professional Id seen. I was surprised with how quickly they removed the roof and loaded it into the trailer while leaving no signs of roofing in the yard. They went above and beyond by covering my automobiles and placing sheets of plywood over my windows to prevent damage. The roofing crew worked seamlessly as a unit, and I heard no arguments among them. I would certainly employ their services again if possible. 10/10.

My sunroom roof was damaged on one side. I had an estimator from another firm come out and tell me I needed a new roof over my entire house. I contacted Northwest Builders and Renovation based on reviews. Moshe came within a couple of days. He used a drone to take overhead images of the entire roof, not just the damaged area, and told me that my roof had no damage other than the section in the sunroom, which was my original request. Moshe presented me with two options and described their advantages and disadvantages, as well as the costs. After choosing on an option, the roof installer arrived around five days later. Very professional young man, and the damaged roof looked as good as new at the end of the day. Clean up was amazing after the work. Nice experience with them. Highly recommended.
