I write this almost 2- years after David and his crew replace to roof on my 20 year old roof. The whole are great people all around. Had the roof done in 2-days. No issues, no leaks use a local companies shingles, Malarkey roof Manufacturing. Know the company through their quality manager and can say they make great products and ECO- friendly. Perfectly. Chuck and Andre knew exactly what to do. They made sure to cover the dresser so that it would not get scratched. They took the dresser on a dolly up the fifteen steps on the outside of our house and then hand carried it up the stairs to the second floor. They were quick and efficient. My yard/garden was a disaster. Three-foot tall, out-of-control, weeds, unusable backyard because of sloping, dead lawn, Zero landscaping (to name just a few issues). My neighbors have been nice for many, many years to not complain, but my yard needed major help. Tony came out to consult with my ideas/plans for the area. He listened to what I was thinking and gave helpful advice. Affordable Quality Landscape did an amazing job. Tony and his crew spent 6-7 full days here. Yard clean up, digging out bamboo roots that had spread all over the backyard (although there were only 6 visible bamboo stalks). Leveled out the soil, and added a retaining wall and root blocking material to reduce the spread of bamboo in the future (the bamboo had jumped over from the neighbor's yard). They build a beautiful paver patio (honestly, it's a nice small patio--a professional job); laydown a ton (probably true in weight) of river rock along the side of the house, back and front. Installed edging to prevent the river rock spreading. FYI, I have one of those narrow lot, two story (newer) homes you see popping up all over the Portland Metro. The crew also built a paver pad for me to put my garbage and recycling bins (that before were left on top of dirt/bark). Finally, they laid new sod for the small front yard (about 10'x10'--small enough that I don't feel too bad about the lawn's water consumption). I'll have Affordable Quality Landscape back in autumn, after the summer heat, to add plantings and trees. Note: Originally, I wanted to do work during the summer of 2021, but I waited too late (July) to contact Tony... they were already booked through September. This year, I called in early May

Communication was good and they called to confirm schedule and start/end addresses. Price was fair and well communicated in advance. They arrived on time, answered all our questions, were friendly and professional. They worked hard and continuously and loaded up 7 cubic yards of broken concrete and all the old wooden adirondack chairs in less time than I thought it would take. They brought two trucks and loaded concrete in one, the chairs in the other, so clearly they do recycle! When they were done, you could not tell there had been a huge pile of concrete debris there. Their cleanup is meticulous. A volunteer work group, at the City owned park, across the street from my home, had some debris from a departed homeless encampment. Seattle Rubbish Removal offered to take it all, with no charge, including the sharps (needles!). We all appreciated their generous donation of help to our neighborhood. "The workers were friendly but not very motivated. Their method of loading the items into their truck wasn't very efficient and a lot of "dead" space was unused. They charge by the load so this is important . I appreciate that they honored their senior discount. I was offended when they asked for a gratuity for the workers when it came time to pay the bill. Are you kidding me? I paid too much for what I got and I had to constantly manage the situation and give directions to the workers. If I had not been on top of the process, they would have missed a lot of details.

"It tool several tries to schedule the clean up. They could do this job only on weekends. The crew of 3 arrived on the appointed time. The job leader introduced himself and was friendly. They quickly removed all the material and left the yard tidy. Later I was contacted about the high weight of the load. The volume was within the contract, An extra charge of $200 added. I understand the extra charge but it felt a bit high. I would suggest getting a bid on your job to avoid sticker shock.

The crew totally seems to know what they are doing and they were ready to help with as much or as little as we needed to have done. They moved all kinds of furniture and appliances without a problem.
