Integrity Tree Care

After checking out the ratings of several tree removal companies and getting bids, we also got a bid from Integrity Tree Care after a neighbor had them remove a dead tree from his property recently and recommended them highly for doing great work then as well as in the past for him. It was refreshing to us to actually get their bid fairly quickly, and we had them take down two trees last week, a huge dying maple tree in the back of our house as well as a cedar that had died. From start to finish, they did a great job and cleaned up well after their tree removal work was completed. They brought as many chunks of wood as possible to the front of the property and placed the others in the back near the stump for greatest ease of later removal by their employees. Their bid total bid was very reasonable, and they included the stump grinding in the charges. Jay came out a few days after the trees were taken down, and hauled away the larger chunks of wood. He willingly and happily wheeled several pieces of wood to the neighbor's home across the street for his woodworking, and Jay's attitude was such a blessing to us as he was so positive and helpful as he worked. Today, Krieger's Stump Removal, the company Integrity contracts with for stump grinding had Andy come out, and he not only arrived on time, but he also did a great job of taking care of the maple stump and only charged us a small amount to also grind the cedar stump. Another man from his company also came later in the job and assisted in clean up. All in all, we were very pleased with the service we got from Integrity Tree Care, and from all the men they sent for the various aspects of the job.

Jay and his awesome, local, long time Integrity Tree Care crew did a fantastic job taking out a large squirrely oak that was encroaching and dropping tons of leaves and debris on my double decks and sun room. From the first look and estimate through the inspection prior to starting work, the actual work, and the final walk through; they were very mature and professional, genuinely knowledgeable, experienced, methodical, timely, and sensitive to my concerns about not damaging my property, keeping the work affects on my property, and protecting the surrounding forest buffer. They were Licensed, Bonded and Insured and provided references from past customers. Great price for a Great job...!!!

I have now had two great experiences with Integrity Tree Care and really trust their work. I appreciate their careful approach to tree care and don't feel that I have to worry that my trees will be damaged in the process. Their team was punctual and quick. The area was fully cleaned up after they were done. Despite there being a number of chainsaws and a grinder on-site, my yard was cleaner after they left than when they arrived. They were not the cheapest, but I trust them and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Paid for cabling, but when I saw a guy with a coil of rope and asked what it was for, he said, "To get up in the tree." Much later, I asked two people from two different companies to take a look at my trees. Not only did they say that the TWO cables were attached to the wrong branches, they also said a rope was used, instead of cable. When I learned that Mike Mills, who owned Autumn Arbor, sold his business to Integrity and was working for them as an estimator, I requested that he come look at my trees. When he got back to me in an email (which I have), Integrity denied using rope and claimed that I had hired another tree service! So, not only did the owner LIE, he pretty much accused ME of lying! The only two tree services I ever hired were Autumn Arbor, who did a wonderful job removing a tree and branches years ago and Integrity! Integrity may have been in business a long time, but the current owner has no integrity at all! I paid quite a bit of money , but I cannot find the amount or the date the "work" was done - it's been a few years. The contract specified CABLE NOT rope. I will dig it up, if necessary.

Verbally I was told tree in front yard would be cut down and debris removed. Tree in back would be cut down, trunk removed, and limbs left. Integrity did what they said with front tree. Back tree was cut down and trunk and branches were left (bid said back tree trunk would be removed and debris left). I paid bill in full and contacted Integrity about removed back tree trunk as promised. Integrity said that would be an additional $75. I declined an additional bill for work I already paid for and removed the trunk myself. Would not hire again or recommend.

They did great work. Very prompt with the response for the bid. Showed up when scheduled. Made quick work of it, and couldn't tell they were even there when they left.

They were right in line with everyone else on price. They have good prices, they are reasonable. 3 or 4 people came out to perform the services. Their expandable, they did a good job, they didn't destroy anything, and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. They left the area just like they should when they were done. They left it clean. Their quality and capability, the good job,  they were polite, they were clean really stands out.

They were a bit later than expected, but got right to work. Very tidy professional, checked in. Took safety seriously-I liked that.

They did a fantastic job. I thought it would take all day but they were done by lunch time. They did a great job cleaning up, even climbed up on my roof and blew it off. I am really happy and will use them again.

CALLED THEM TO REMOVE A LARGE FIR TREE AND THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO LET ME KNOW THEY COULD SAVE THE TREE AND DO HAZARD REDUCTION AT A SAVINGS OF SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS.  BECAUSE OF THIS I HAD THEM REMOVE A VERY LARGE OVERGROWN LAUREL HEDGE THAT I THOUGHT I WAS STUCK WITH.  THEY GAVE ME A GREAT PRICE!  THE CREW WAS EXTREMELY HARD WORKING AND POLITE.  THEY CLEANED UP WELL AND THE ROOTS WERE GROUND UP AND NOW WE ARE READY FOR A FENCE..........THAT WILL NEVER HAVE TO BE TRIMMED!!!!

I Love Integrity Tree Care.  During one of our worst winters (2/14), several root balls of my Laurel Hedge uprooted and came crashing down into our lawn.  It is my only source of privacy and was devastated at the thought of losing it.  John (owner) & crew managed to replant & save the hedge which is about 20+  ft high, trim it's entirety and since then, evaluated it's health and condition.  Prompt, knowledgeable, responsive, listened to my concerns, thorough, and worth every penny.

The actual tree removal went smoothly. It's what happened as the tree crew was dragging large branches out was the problem. The first thing my wife said to me when she got home the day of the work was what happened to our front gate?
The crew dragged large sections of branches out through the yard and gate. This apparently saved them time instead of cutting the branches into smaller, say, 6 to 8 foot sections. But by dragging the large sections of branches through the gate they put deep scars into it. I'm all for wabi sabi -- but these gouges were deep and ugly and prominent. The gate/entry was constructed at a cost of more than $1500 by a local artist using clear, old growth cedar boards custom milled for this project . It is also, in essence, our front door and the first thing any visitor encounters.
When I reported this to and quot;Integrityand quot; Tree Care, the lack of interest in taking any responsibility in the matter was sad. They replied that and quot;the fence was already scratched and not new.and quot; it seems a bit like a furniture mover gouging your front door and then dismissing the new marks saying, and quot;you have an old house.and quot;
I had used this company before when it was under the name of Thomas Tree. Their staff were courteous, professional, and careful. I understand that Thomas Tree was acquired by Integrity Tree. I thought the care and professionalism would carry over. It's clear it did not.

I thought the cost was high. I liked how ecologically-minded they were and they did not want to use chemicals. I liked how knowledgeable they were about the trees in my yard. I liked how they appreciated the old willow tree. The guy was really friendly and knowledgeable. The work was okay.

They are well named. They listen to what we want. They do what they say the will do. They are well trained.

We have several fir trees on our lot that clearly needed thinning. There were lots of dead branches and I was concerned about them breaking off during a wind storm and damaging our home. They did a very professional, prompt and informative. The also put up a swing for us that I had wanted to do for my daughter for a long time but did not have the equipment to do so. Overall they did a good job. I would have liked to have more dead branches removed, but what was done was adequate.

All went well, they were easy to communicate with and did the work at a price that competitive.

The experience was great, and they were clean. The only problem I had was when I had the stump ground, I am not sure if the person was with Integrity or not, but our sprinkler line was broken. I have to get that fixed. My neighbor used them too. The price was excellent.

|It went well except that two of the employees got into a major argument which I found to be very unprofessional.

They're good. They were great. They were pretty much A. The pricing was okay. The quality was very good. They were there when I wanted them to. They were right on time. They were early. They were very good, very nice.

They came out within the hour and trimmed some branches and secure the tree. They came back and permanently bolted the tree and thinned the remaining branches. The cost reflects emergency call rates.
