"We hired Roads Paving to replace our aging, 1200 square foot asphalt driveway. Their bid was lower than a competitor. The driveway is tightly compacted, smooth, and looks great. The work only took around 4 hours from start to finish, including removing the existing asphalt and sub-base. Norm, his crew, and office staff were extremely courteous and helpful throughout the entire process."

"I needed to have my crawlspace entrance widened to accommodate a new furnace. For starters, the wood frame around the entrance, nailed to the concrete foundation, would have to be removed. Additionally, a few inches of the concrete wall would have to be removed to make the opening even wider. The work was complicated by the fact that the entrance was surrounded by a small aluminum enclosure, which made things pretty cramped.
The two NCC employees (Garret and another) arrived on time. They removed the frame with a large pry bar. They also made a clean 20" vertical cut through the 8" concrete wall. When they were done they made sure I thought the opening was large enough for the furnace. In the end, we concluded that the aluminum enclosure would also need to be removed. They were willing to do that too, but they didn't have a reciprocating saw with them. They did advise me on how they thought it could be done.

"Believe me, this is your last stop for any masonry and concrete needs as these guys are absolutely the best! My initial quote and introduction to the company was provided by Joe Rothwell ( Owner ). Joe took the time to discuss the condition of my driveway, which believe me was in dire need of replacement, providing me with an estimate that I felt was extremely reasonable. What impressed me most was his attention to detail and options such as a sand finish and converting my existing 1ft x 1ft drain to a channel drain, running almost the length of my garage. On the day of installation, I was greeted by Joe and several members of his team. He anticipated only one day to demolish, however, based on the size of my driveway ( approx 2300 sq ft ) I thought that there was no way this was possible. Low and behold by 2:00 pm the entire drive was completely bare of old concrete! Day two went just as smooth, with grading, adding a gravel base, channel drain, and rebar. Because of a mini heat-wave, it was decided best to delay the concrete pour until the following week when the weather had cooled. Once again, they arrived right on time with the first pour. It was truly amazing to watch these guys focus their attention to detail. Finally, the last day was the wash and clean-up. Joe and his crew did a wonderful job and my driveway looks spectacular! He starts early and is on site for the entire job - he doesn't delegate to a crew. His mixture of colored, stamped concrete features and brushed parking pads is exactly what we were hoping for and has been admired and praised by many friends and neighbors."
