Those guys are artists. You think that anybody could put in stucco on the side of the house, but it’s not. I needed to rebuild the top of my parapet walls, which is where the water had the potential of leaking in and they just did a phenomenal job on that. I am extremely happy that I used them.

Five years later, the stucco and color of it have held up beautifully. Burt (the owner and single employee) was very respectful, and knew what he was doing. He stuccoed about two days, then came back a week later to do the painting. We wondered if he would really do it because we were out of town during the time he would be painting. Yep, he did it. The whole thing was a good price, and it looks really good. Plus, it stopped the crumbling of our old chimney stack. No more bricks falling from way up above

Initial contact was to repair the stone veneer on the exterior wall. Bert was very quick to respond to our call and upon his review we identified more sever issues....failure of the stucco above causing serious dry rot and wet termite damage. Nothing was visible from the exterior and only uncovered when he removed the old stone. Bert was not able to do the structural repairs needed to remove the windows and doors replacing the damaged wood, but was very supportive in helping us find a separate contractor to do this work. While a second contractor was required, he worked closely with them to coordinate activeties to keep the project moving. Bert was very professional and did beautiful work matching the original stucco and stones

Manuel and his crew did an amazing job. I have high vaulted ceilings and a split level home. I originally was going to purchase new baseboards, but he saved mine and was able to make them like new! He also refinished a section of a wall that was poorly patched after multiple tvs had been mounted to it. My new house actually looked like new! Definitely recommended!!

Shawn Hine, the owner, is hands on and has a wealth of people to call on to help with the jobs he is doing. I've never had anyone that did a cleaner job (picking up scaffolding, covering plants) and his price is right. It has been amazing working with them and are using them for future jobs.

Even though it was a very busy season for exterior painting, JRV Painting was able to fit our home in earlier than we could have reasonably hoped for, due to a rescheduling of another painting job. Jim and his crew arrived promptly each day, worked consistently, and finished the job with professionalism and a thorough cleaning of the work area around the house. They didn't complain about the many wasp nests they had to clear; they just quietly removed the offending objects and proceeded to pressure wash, seal, and paint. Jim and his wife paid considerable attention to matching the new paint to the original house colors (this 10-year-old house had not been painted since it was built). He also fully explained his findings during the estimate visit and made careful recommendations for types of paint and how he could resolve the unsightly, exposed Tyvek problem on both sides of the front porch. He was very candid about painting the Hardy Panel stucco-look exterior portions where the seams had become somewhat visible as the house settled over the past 10 years, and made it clear that there would still remain some residual appearance of the seams. It turned out so well! We are really pleased with the overall product and service. It was particularly refreshing to have a work crew who arrived each day looking and sounding "clean." They were hard-working and so professional. They stayed well within the cost estimate, too. We will be contacting JRV again later this year to have a side panel of our outbuilding replaced and painted. These people really show that they care about customer satisfaction, and we are recommending them to friends and neighbors. In a word, the JRV company is "awesome

"Caesar had to compete with 3 other bids that I got for painting the exterior of my house, and his was bid one of the lowest. The reason I chose him was because of his professionalism. He returned calls or just answered his phone when it rang, he was on time for his bid, he did a VERY detailed walk through for the bid to address specific issues and his written bid was very detailed and descriptive of exactly what I could be expecting, AND he was just pleasant to work with. First I had him do the exterior, and his crew did a great job. No issues with overspray or paint on my plants, which I've had in the past with others. The house looks amazing. Then when the tennants moved out I decided to get the inside painted, and asked Caesar to help me. He was able to squeeze me into his tight schedule because he knew I needed to have it done quickly to get the home on the market ASAP. And then he did an AMAZING job inside. He ran into some issues with paint not sticking because of oils on the wall, and he resolved it (tried a couple different primers) without adding on $$ to my bill. Working with Caesar was a great experience. I was not in the same city as the house being painted, so he sent me pictures and video of the work for updates. "This is a 12 year old home that has had a shower leak for a long time. A new type of sealer for the shower pan was used and didn't work. Being that water goes down, we didn't realize there was a problem. 12 years later we did! Insurance / Safeco was called and sent a claims manager to view damage. They didn't cover damage as it had been going on too long. Was given a list of folks to call. Their bids were all over the place. So I Checked on Angie's List. My wife started calling contractors and everyone was busy. We liked the reviews on Cascade Valley Construction, and so she called Thomas. To Busy! Well she kept calling him and offered to bake him a blackberry Pie. That was too much to resist and he came to our home. Thomas went under the house pulling insulation as he accessed the damage. It was bad. He took a video of the damage and we were shocked. All of the support beams and sills were rotten and that side of the house was sinking. Thomas asked a $1000.00 to start and tore into the Bathroom and part of the bedroom. We moved upstairs as the smell and black mold was bad. As I said He was very busy and took a month to get his crew in to repair damage. The out side wall had to be removed, the floor removed and sills and beams replaced. New flooring, Plywood treated, not OSB. second story had to be braced and leveled. New out side wall was built and siding put on. Belly board was something called white board and starting to rot. so Thomas used cement board as a replacement. Now the time had arrived to put inside walls up and a new shower. Thomas put the shower together correctly using a very thick shower pan and used cement board instead of plaster board that was used originally. He then put a red sealer on the floor and walls. Thomas smiled and said this time it won't leak, We now have a handicap accessible shower and a heated tile floor! Thomas was very good at explaining what he was doing step by step and his crew was great They were here to work when they said they would be and stuck with the job until our work was done We now know why He is so busy.
