"The bad air in that room has been a problem since I moved into the house and it has been hard to diagnose the problem. I am very grateful to Jim and Robert for their perseverance in figuring out how to approach this. The solution proved to be adding both the HRV and new thermostat, as well as adjusting the heat ducting. Now the air quality is very much improved and the heat is balanced throughout the house, where before it was either too hot or too cold upstairs. Robert is indeed a heating expert who also provided excellent tips for efficient operation of my furnace."

"Nolan and Nate did a difficult job. They replaced my 1989 furnace with new and installed a ac/heat pump. They needed to mate the new slightly larger unit to existing duct work. You can't tell it was modified. The new outdoor unit is also first class. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any job. They are knowledgeable and.work their ask off."

This depends on the extent of the freezing. Some ACs only need an hour or two to thaw out, but others may need a full day to completely unfreeze. Once you turn off the system to let it unfreeze, check it periodically to make sure the drain pan doesn’t overflow.
