Johnson Custom BuildersRyan and his team completed an extensive basement remodel in our 1924 home. The basement work included new framing/drywall, windows (including a large egress window), plumbing and electrical to support a main living space, new bathroom and new laundry room. We also updated our old forced-air HVAC and water heather to new mini-splits and a tankless water heater. This is our second major project with Ryan and we plan to work with him for many years to come. He's incredibly responsive and detail oriented and always plans phases of our projects to support our future plans. Ryan's expertise and quality of work is well worth the cost.- Jessica A.

Johnson and Sons ConstructionWe had water loss in our house. In addition to the restoration work, we decided to do a broader remodel at the same time. We actually hired a different company that promised to make our house all new again, but we had a lot of delays and communication issues, and ultimately walked away from that company. We had already moved into temporary housing for the remodel, and needed another contractor to step in quickly. Johnson and Sons rose to the occasion and were able to get us back into our house quicker than the first company would have. Our remodel was basically the whole house. Floors, interior paint, all 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. The price was competitive. The timeline was good. The communication was outstanding, which was very important to us. Vic was always available to answer questions and proactive in letting us know what was going on. Jon and Tony were patient and willing to make adjustments as requested. We did discover an issue based on a previous contractor's faulty work, but Vic was quick to explain the situation and give us options and prices. Jack of All TradesJack and his crew are fantastic. They’ve remodeled, painted and maintained multiple elements of our home’s interior and exterior, including installation of numerous custom lighting fixtures, cabinetry, roofing detail and deck installation and maintenance. I love that he’s independent and thoroughly human, and just a super sweet guy as well as a highly skilled pro. They arrived in the morning to start each day within about 15 minutes of their estimated time of arrival. It was a six day job in all with cleanup on the morning of the 7th day. I felt like I was working with good friends throughout the 6 month from design through installation of the four rooms. Everyone at Keystone was pleasant and responsive. They guided me throughout to create stunning, yet functional areas. I LOVE the kitchen and baths. I worked closely with Demetri and Rhonda on designs and they added all the special touches to make it so beautiful. Todd was my engineer and his work was impeccable. My installation lead, Omar, and his assistant Rami were hard working, paid close attention to every detail and also made invaluable suggestions. The whole company demonstrates true “old world craftsman” ideals: dedicated to quality and the creation of something special for the client. Everyday I was grateful that Keystone was my remodel company. There are many challenges and decisions during remodels. This was my first project using Above & Beyond Painting LLC, but certainly not my last. Jesus and Christian and their team were utterly professional, meticulous, honest, and very pleasant to work with. This house project was challenge in that there were 4 colors necessitating lots of plastic and tape, 3+ levels, and a very barky dog to contend with. No matter, the painting project was finished without surprises; the cleanup was pristine, and my house looks great. And will look great for decades to come! If you've got a painting or remodeling project coming up you simply can't do better than Above & Beyond Painting LLC. Highly recommended!

Excellent! Highly recommended. As part of a full kitchen renovation, we needed some walls demolished, a new doorway framed, major holes from electrical/plumbing work repaired, and the room prepped for painting. Alvin was our contact for this project, and we enjoyed working with him. He came out to look at the site and quickly was able to tell us how everything would work, in a clear and concise manner. He also said they had room for us on their schedule, when I needed them, which was super important. Other companies didn't even call me back! Construction is very busy lately, and I did make sure to check in with them now and again to make sure our schedules would still line up as we got closer to the job. They always called or emailed back, usually the same day but sometimes the next day. I also left PLENTY of wiggle room in my project schedule. Over about 10 days, the work got done, sometimes with a day or two between for things to dry. They were always on time, worked quickly, checked in with us to make sure we were all on the same page, got all the details, and did really quality work. We appreciated how nicely they protected the job site and cleaned up, too. At the end, it was ready for primer and paint, which we were able to DIY in a weekend. They are incredibly hard-working, competent, and have been among the best we've hired during our entire project. Call them!

The drywall was done in a professional manner and quickly. I called Ron on a Wednesday and he showed up on Thursday to give me a quote. His guy, Nick, showed up on Monday ready to start. He was done in two days with the work and initial mud. No fault of his, the mud didn't dry over night so he had to come back on Thursday. The job turned out wonderful. Nick tidied up before he left and by Friday afternoon you couldn't even tell they were there. I would highly recommend them. I gave them a pretty bad starting point and they made it look awesome.
