"It was way too expensive for the work that was performed. They originally said that the pipes leading up to the faucet may need to be replaced and the wall opened up. Previously before engaging them. I asked for a possible quote for how much it would cost and they told me that it was up to the technician. When they came out to do the work that they would determine the amount. I asked the technician how much it would and he told me that it was up to the company to decide for how much the work would cost. When I contacted the company they told me again that it would be up to the technician to determine the how much it would cost by checking the amount of work. I could not get an answer from both of them because they would just keep passing each other on who to ask for the quote. After the project was completed, I was given the bill of about $750+ to replace the faucet, to replace the hoses and the two knobs roughly $350+ each. When I called the company about the price, I was transferred to the dispatchers and was told that I need to talk to the technician for it."

"A tech "Graham" came out for an annual maintenance visit on a reliable 15 year old York Furnace with a 20 year guarantee on the heat exchanger which Blue Flame installed in 2010. He could not explain why he was here, and when I told him "routine annual maintenance" he said, "Let's see what we can find". That was the first sign we had opposite agendas. It went south from there. After lots of loud grinding noises, he supposedly found a shiny jagged gash which he showed me on a scope. I am extremely suspicious he created it himself with a power tool. The end result was the furnace was no longer usable and cost me $8K to have them replace. To add insult to injury that guy ruined my screen door, which won't close anymore. I have ended my 15 year relationship with this company, since I no longer trust them."

"We had Evergreen Home Heating and Energy install a new water heater and furnace, and unfortunately, the quality of their work has been disappointing. Recently, I noticed several issues with the intake and exhaust pipes. Several hanger straps attached to the wall are broken, and one of the joints on the water heater exhaust pipe is leaking water. I suspect this leak is caused by the imbalance due to the broken hanger straps. I expected a professional and reliable installation from Evergreen Home Heating and Energy, but these problems indicate a lack of attention to detail and quality. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Evergreen Home Heating and Energy. If you’re considering them for your home needs, be cautious and perhaps look elsewhere."

I had another highly reputed company come diagnose my failed furnace and provide an estimate, but AirPros' price for the same part and repair was much more reasonable and furnace repairs are not cheap, so the difference mattered significantly. "Avoid working with DVAC at all costs. When I initially requested a quote for the installation, I specifically asked for a 3-ton high-efficiency heat pump. Unfortunately, the experience with DVAC has been nothing short of frustrating. They began by stating that extensive work needed to be done, charging for it all upfront. However, when it came time to install, they drastically lowered the quality of the equipment, gaslighted me, and lied about what was being provided. Hidden charges surfaced right after my existing system was removed. The issues I discovered included but not limited to: 1.The installed heat pump is only 2-ton heat pump instead of the required 3-ton heat pump stated in the estimate. 2.The furnace provided is of lower quality than what was agreed upon. 3.The ducts installed are too small for the system. 4.The electrical cable used may be undersized for 3-ton heat pump. 5. All works were unpermitted. Throughout the project, I repeatedly verified the permit status with DVAC, including on the installation day (8/15). They assured me everything was in order. However, on 8/20, I confirmed with the City of Kirkland that none of the work had been permitted—a clear violation of both city regulations and our contract. Given these serious issues, I requested a full refund and the removal of all unpermitted work. DVAC refused to comply with the contract and denied the refund. If there were a zero-star option, I wouldn't even give them a single star."

The install was defective - pipes weren't attached and we were heating the crawl space for over a month before my husband identified the problem. We purchased on the premise that the system was eligible for a $4000.00 rebate thru PSE. When paperwork was sent to me to fill out, it qualified for $2400.00."
