MIKE'S PLUMBING & DRAIN CLEANING

*Do not use anyone else for plumbing, trust me. They are the best.* I have twice now gotten estimates for water backup and in both cases other plumbing companies have quoted us insane amounts and in both cases Mike's has come through with low or no cost. They are honest, they remember you as a client, and I have told anyone who will listen about their amazing service. The most recent incident I was about an hour from leaving town and the water started to backup in my drains. I called Mike's but they couldn't come immediately so stupidly I called another company. That company did come out eventually. I wasn't there, I had a friend come. By the time I got on the phone they had freaked her out and said it was going to be $8,900, they would need to replace a bunch of line (no reason given) break up the concrete, call the city, etc. At that point I told them I needed a 2nd opinion so they invoiced me $560 for coming out and scoping the line. That is all they did, camera the sewer line. I was very confused by the invoice as it stated they cleared the line (they didn't), inspected the crawl space (also no) and the charge for the camera inspection was $559 (what? Most companies charge appx $100). When I got home I called Mikes and Cody came out immediately. He scoped the line no charge, cleared what was essentially just a clog, and gave us a really reasonable estimate for some pipe work that needs to be done eventually that was 1/3rd of the cost of the other company. At this point I will not use anyone else, and I am sharing my experience so people do not waste their time and money. They are fair, they respond immediately when they can, and they just don’t charge people for what they don’t need to. I cannot say enough good things. Thank you Cody, Caitlin, and Mike’s!

They are amazing and I've been using them for 30 years now, they have a reasonable price. He fixed the job the first time and no hassle in going back to redo a job.

Excellent. Mike's Plumbing determined the reason the toilet was overflowing (contractor grade toilet had small outflow opening plus the interior works of the toilet were failing) and replaced the toilet which solved the problem. Additionally I requested that the garbage disposal be replaced as it was 15 years old. It had to be cut out because it was so rusted. Workers were prompt, tidy, and very professional. Cost was reasonable and within the range I had expected. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with.

These guys were great. They were responsive and professional. They explained everything at each step. They let me watch when I wanted to, without getting defensive. We run a BnB out of our home and they were respectful of our timing and the needs of our guests too. They were also the least expensive quote I got. They will definitely get my business again, should I ever need it.

Good service but extremely expensive - came out to be over 5000 to replace a hot water heater in a 3 bedroom townhouse. Did a search for the cost of the heater, which was only around 1600. Was in a bind because of a tenant without heat, so had to swallow the cost.

Great. In and out. Had them estimate another job while here. Mike brought a contractor with him for the carpentry parts....can't say how helpful that is!! On time, great communication.

Well, although I was not anticipating having to pay for a new toilet! They were very fast in coming initially and also in returning to bring a new toilet. I very much like the toilet they brought--a Toto.

We are very pleased with the work. Mike's handled the permits to put the water main under the sidewalk. Our water was only off for 20 or 30 minutes while the new line was connected. We have since used Mike's for drain cleaning on a rental house we have.

We had 4 visits to complete our work. Arrival was always punctual and the plumber worked the entire time, with efficiency. Owner Mike helped problem solve trouble with cranky 35 year old toilets. His suggestion to replace instead, made the most sense and he was fair in giving us credit for the work already performed trying to repair them. There was some cosmetic damage done to a wall, which the company fixed at their expense.

Mike's crew replaced the section of pipe that was damaged, and re-seated the toilet. They also ran a scope through the roof vent into the septic tank to check it out. The total price was less than the estimate, and about half of the other estimate we obtained before hiring Mike. Unfortunately, the drainfield needed to be replaced (our home and septic system is 60 years old, and we knew it was coming.), and AWESCO Septic did a great job for us with that job.

Mike's Plumbing responded promptly to my enquiry and offered to check prices to see how they compared with what I could get elsewhere. In the end, it was no more expensive for them to supply the toilet than for me to get it. The tech arrive on time and the installation was quick and efficient. Highly recommended.

Perfectly. They came in and saved the day. It was a complicated job. They analyzed our problem, solved it completely and did exactly what they said they would do. All the crews were professional and knowledgable. It was a great experience. I have already recommended them to a friend.

Per request, I'd sent photos of the problems to the office and they seemed to get me scheduled pretty quickly - within a couple of weeks. The plumber found the source of the problems and quite competently fixed them. He needed to replace my kitchen sink faucet, which he did, and now I have no more leaks. The only problem is he replaced the faucet with one that isn't really the right one for my sink. It curves way up and down and ends up quite a bit too low in my older, apparently somewhat shallow sink which can make the washing of larger pots and pans fairly challenging. I was very happy with the job done until I realized that this was happening; otherwise, I would have given everything an A. I will need to replace the faucet again at some point soon. I think he did show me the faucet system he had in his truck and maybe that was the only one he had, but couldn't really judge how it would function until I went to wash some dishes after he left. He was very nice and respectful of my time and budget for this job.

Mike and his crew were responsive and found the source(s) of our plumbing problem. They ended up installing a clean out valve and cleaned the lines. We appreciated that they're a local, family-owned business and they did great work.

Very well. The plumber listened to my concerns. I wanted a water supply valves replaced as preventative maintenance and a kitchen faucet fixed. The faucet was brand new but did not work properly. He gave me some good advice on a few other related items as well. He knew exactly what was wrong with the faucet and replaced the water supplies very quickly. They charge by the hour but it was all work and I felt I got good value.

Would call them again for plumbing issues.
