He was reliable and in great communication about the cost, the likely outcome ( since he had to try to remove my very over applied oil based stain) and about the timing of the work. We were soo impressed with the quality of work! Great attention to detail. Such a beautiful job and done on time, on budget without any negative suprises. Can't say enough good things about these guys. And their pricing was very competitive. Stuart got back to us quickly and once we accepted the bid, he scheduled us. The project start date was a couple of months out, and they started right on schedule. Our home hadn't been painted in 15 years ago and was starting to look like it needed to be done again. My husband had used a sprayer and only put on a single coat at the time. When they pressure washed our house, quite a bit of loose paint came off, down to the bare wood. That meant that the primer paint layer that was needed was more extensive than they had planned. They did a great job making sure the bare wood was all primed, and then painted 2 coats of top quality paint. All the lines are crisp and so professional. We realized after they started that we also wanted to have the deck painted, and they were able to do that too, at a very good price. Stuart and his team met and greatly exceeded our expectations! Really great company."

"This review is long overdue. Cameron and his crew were fantastic! Due to woodpecker damage, I needed to have my house re-sided in Hardie Plank, and I also developed a bad case of, "well, as long as we're doing that...." They removed the old siding, fixed any areas underneath that needed re-sheathing or re-framing (due to water damage), and then installed the new siding. That was all included in the original price quote. I also decided to update most of the windows and sliding glass doors in the house. When the new custom bay windows arrived and were incorrectly configured (no one's fault on my end or Cameron's, as I recall), he graciously re-ordered them, made triple-sure the configuration was correct, and only charged the price difference between the prior configuration and the correct one. His crew also replaced some exterior stairs and 3 decks for me, one of which was badly deteriorated. Not even pressure treated wood can withstand years of Seattle rain, so my main deck was rotting away. They did a beautiful job of repairing and replacing, so I also had them do the walkway up to to my front door to match. Then came the painting, and the paint job on my house is drop-dead, stunningly gorgeous. It was so stunning that the next two neighbors up from me (with identical floor plans), decided to paint their houses as well. All three are now bright, cheery, primary colors. Along the way, Cameron and the Modernized Exteriors crew did lots of little extras, kept me informed about how the work was going, had me inspect frequently, and charged very fair prices. They even sent someone out to fix an old window leak that hadn't gotten fixed by the re-siding process. My fiancee kept an eye on the work progress too, and as a tradesman himself, he highly approved of the quality of their work. I can't say enough good things, and I will hire them again in a heartbeat for exterior work. I just wish they also did interior work, so I could hire them for a bathroom remodel!"

"After meeting with Dennis, one of the owners, I hired Legacy to repaint the exterior of my home in Lynnwood. He and Mark, the other owner, were great to work with and did a great job of communicating throughout the process which included a slight delay due to paint shortages because of the pandemic which is understandable. Mark even gave me recommendations on color and paint type to ensure I was getting the proper finish and color that I was looking for. For the actual project, Henry was the lead and power washed the house about a week prior to starting on the painting. Henry was great... punctual, efficient and did quality work. All told, it took about 2 full days for a crew of 2 to prep and paint our house and we're thrilled with the results. Henry was also a very good sport about my OCD in finding spots that needed to be touched up and did it all with a great attitude and smile on his face. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Legacy and highly recommend their services!"
