Seattle Blind RepairMeticulous, professional, punctual. Matthew Dodd from this company was a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately he figured I have an old school awning so he could not find the replacement motor. But he would not take any money for his troubles and a drive about 40 minutes one way. Anchor BlindsMy experience with Anchor Blinds was excellent in all aspects. Because of COVID we talked several times by phone and I looked at sample window coverings on-line. I was able to measure my windows to get a good estimate prior to their visit when the restrictions were lifted in Phase 2. Armi came to my house on time (with mask and sanitizer) and did final measurements for the blinds and we reviewed options for motorizing the larger windows, and individual shades for the patio doors. We discussed materials, colors, and styles again to be sure of my choices. It took approximately 3 weeks for the window coverings to arrive at which time I was notified and able to schedule their installers for the very next week. Again they arrived on time with masks and sanitizer and had them installed within a couple of hours. They were very good at being sure I knew how to operate the different styles and told me if I had any questions to call and they would be happy to come back if necessary. The blinds are beautiful! The service was excellent! The staff is wonderful to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and it was a great experience. I highly recommend Anchor Blinds!- Linda T.

Burrows DraperiesI have hired Burrows Draperies for 25 years in three houses. They are capable of very high end window treatment construction and installation, where they really excel, and simple ones you can get anyone to do. In addition to wood slat blinds and motorized louvred fabric blinds, I have had them make draperies out of cotton blends, fine silks, heavy velvets, ultra suede, and even a gorgeous faux fur. They all turned out absolutely perfect and beautiful. The supervision of their workroom is precise and the installation is high quality, sometimes creative when the existing window construction requires it. They know what they’re doing. When there are manufacturer or vendor problems they do the troubleshooting and are prompt with resolution. I won’t use anyone else and always recommended them to friends.- K C.

Wessco BlindsIt’s not often I feel compelled to write a review. The experience has to be either really bad or really great. Wessco lands at the really great end of the spectrum! We just finished remodeling a house and needed new window coverings. We shopped around and found the folks at Wessco to be the most helpful and knowledgeable. They came to our house with their samples to show us our different color options and blind/shade types. We opted for roller shades on our first floor where our living area is and cellular up/down shades upstairs where our bedrooms are. They saved us from choosing the wrong color in our bedrooms and also advised us on the proper open percentage to choose for our roller shades. They were even able to add some custom touches to our blinds from the factory due to their close relationship with Hunter Douglas. Installation was quick, professional, and painless. Lance even fixed a few things that I would have never noticed, but he said he’d never want a client noticing something minor wrong even a few years down the line, so he made sure everything was perfect. Our new blinds and shades look amazing and are the perfect compliment to our house. Our favorite feature is the remote control and automated motorization of the up/down cellular shades in our master bedroom. We have 10 windows in our bedroom, so going around and adjusting them every morning and evening would be a pain. (I know...we’re spoiled.) Lance helped set them up to open automatically in the morning, just from the top down, so we still have privacy, but can still see out. Later in the morning, they open all the way. This happens again automatically at one hour after sunset and then they close all the way before we go to bed. So nice! Thank you for the great service and great product, Wessco!- Tyson A.

I needed help choosing interior paint colors in order to create a more cohesive look and to brighten and lighten my rooms. Gina recommended a color palate that integrated with all of my existing decor and the results are just perfect, beautiful, and elegant. She also guided me in selecting a new furniture that fit perfectly into my space and the new color palate and are of excellent quality and workmanship. The two workers showed up promptly at 7 am, right when they said they would. They quickly did the work, cleaning up as they went along and leaving the windows looking great. While this was not the cheapest quote I received for this work, I chose ABC because of their rep and their willingness to stand behind their work with a lifetime warranty and the best 3M materials (in this case). Be happy to use them again (and will once I get my new front door and sidelight in).

I contacted them through Angie’s List, and they replied quickly. We made an appointment, and they came out the next week to show us our options. We found what we wanted, and they did not try to upsell us at all. The following week, the blinds were installed within a few hours. The only problem we had was when one of the tabs to open and close the blinds fell off. We contacted them, but decided it was too much trouble to have them come back out. My husband ordered a special pole online to open and close the blinds, so the tab was not really needed.

I have had The Blind Alley do my blinds for the last 3 homes I have owned over a 15 year period. I have always checked their prices compared to other competitors (Costco, 3 Day Blinds, Home Depot etc.) They are very close or lower in price than their competitors. What the Blind Alley has which no one else has is their service. I had a hard time with competitors who didn't call back until 2 weeks later to set up an appointment or didn't call me back at all. Some of their prices were way higher for the same product. I have worked with Leslie Davies at The Blind Alley every time. She has helped me with colors, products that might be cheaper that I could use but still looks nice, and she is quite knowledgeable about anything they sell. I have had high and low end products and loved them all. If I had anything that needed repaired (like a string that broke which happened several times when my children were young) they would come out and fix it for free. When you call there office they immediately direct you to the person you need to speak to. There service is unbeatable. You do not get the same service at other places.
