Really wanted a beautiful yard and was so excited. Sales came out, told me everything I wanted to hear. I specifically asked questions and, of course, got answers that I wanted to hear. So called project manager finally comes out and gives a whole different spiel, and using wrong equipment to...

Tri and his subcontractors are amazing. We had our fireplace removed, stairway, stairway wall and rail, rebuilt and lots of ceiling and wall drywall repairs (left behind by a less reputable contractor). Tri's drywall and paint person, Marcel is a master at what he does. He made all of the...

I find it extremely rare that I hire a contractor, and I feel moved enough with their work and value that I write a review. My reconstruction job wasnâ t huge nor was it small. It wasnâ t extremely complicated, but neither was it a cakewalk. Jim came in and we had an extremely productive...

I had AA SideXSide Construction, owned by Chris Steenbergen, work on my house. I've paid in full and have pictures, e-mails and documents to back what I say. The contract promised two coats of Sherwin Williams Super paint and I was verbally told that the painter was his employee. What I got...
- David C.
Dave was friendly and prompt and kept up on the progress of his subcontractors. He kept to his promised timeline to my disbelief (some luck always involved in this area since there were no surprises along the way). The work and craftsmanship were excellent. They gutted my whole bathroom,...
- Stanley S.
I found that they hire subcontractors only and so I went with someone else.
- Mollie S.
We were very happy with the work. Questions were all answered in a timely manner. Subcontractors were excellent. Very satisfied with the craftsmanship.
- Chester E.
This was a highly complex job with numerous challenges to assure an architecturally pleasing outcome on a waterfront home. In addition, it required oversight of two subcontractors and compliance to an aggressive schedule. While unusually inclement weather precluded work being done on the...

Through unique technology, experience and compassion, we serve our customers while creating and maintaining a reputation of excellence. We service: Pierce County, King County, Thurston County, and Kitsap County.
"there is a quick summary at the bottom if you want to skip the details. I have received service from this company twice. The first time I had a leak in a bathtub. They removed the drain with a Dremel since it was stuck, then they were about to leave to go to home depot to get plumber's putty, but I had some so they were able to get the part quickly replaced. Maybe this is a bit of a fluke, but that seems like a fairly basic thing to have when going to fix this kind of leak. Overall it was a positive interaction so I didn't think much of it. I recently bought a bidet on amazon. It arrived and I put it in. The problem was that I couldn't connect the toilet to the wall since the hose was a different size then the wall piece. The directions wanted me to remove the valve stem from the wall and replace it with their own. I called A Advanced because when it comes to plumbing, i would rather leave that to the professionals. I had called it a hose bibb because I just didn't know what it was called. someone called me back and asked me to explain in better detail what i needed done. I explained that the "hose bibb" needed to be replaced for me to connect my toilet and that I had the part to do it. from that conversation i received an estimate for $280.87. I was at work that day so couldn't be there, but my wife was there. The plumber that arrived worked for a while on the toilet, then went to home depot to find parts, then came back to the house and worked on it longer, then finally decided that it couldn't be done. We were charged $768.14 for nothing to get fixed. I called them to figure out what happened, I called near closing so they were not able to get a hold of anyone and it waited until the next week for me to talk to someone. I found out that the plumber never received the bag of parts, it was about 2 feet away in the sink. the same plumber came out and looked at it again, and went to home depot again. I was at work and managed to contact him while he was at home depot. I was told that the problem was with the thread depth and that there was no way to install this Chinese toilet without special ordering a part, and if I wanted him to keep working on it he was going to have to charge me more money. I declined. (Its not a Chinese toilet, the company that makes them is out of California.) At this point I was beyond frustrated. I left work early, drove home, went to home depot with the parts I needed to connect, and found a perfect fit within about 10 minutes of looking. I bought a Hex Bushing 3/4 in MIP x 1/2 in FIP for $7.75. I attached it to the included hose and then attached that to the valve stem. and everything worked. Home depot made it easy to find since both connectors were the same type. I just needed to find the appropriate brass adapter. the threads on the toilet hose are identical to the threads on a US water heater. I called A Advanced back and presented my evidence. I was asked what it would take to make this right. I asked for some of my money back. I can understand getting charged for the plumber going out to my house without a full understanding of what is going on. but at no point did he ever tell my wife that he was going way over the estimate. this is the exact response i got back. "I spoke with my COO and my foreman due to the amount of time we spent on the project we are unable to provide any sort of refund. I understand that is not something you want to hear but that is our decision." _____________________________________________ to summarize: - every time this company has come out to my house they have needed to go to Home Depot during the visit. - I was charged nearly 3 times the estimate with no work done and no warning that the bill was piling up. - the plumber was never able to install the toilet despite multiple trips to home depot - I installed the toilet with a $7 adapter i found at home depot in about 10 minutes. (I am not a plumber) - The company chose to not refund me anything If a plumbing company needs to go to home depot every time they do a house call, that is a company that is not prepared at best, and a scam company at worst."

"David was very no-nonsense, quickly assessed the problem and resolved it for a reasonable service call fee in about 20 minutes. He was thorough and professional, and Juice Company will be the first ones we call when were ready to do additional work. This was in contrast to another company who spent two hours giving us a hard sell on a complete overhaul of our home's electrical system but never got around to fixing our immediate issue."

Blue Flame Heating and Air Conditioning
Blue Flame Heating and Air Conditioning
As COVID-19 continues to impact the global community, we at Blue Flame want to update you on the steps we have taken to ensure the safety of our employees and customers, please visit our website at www.blueflamecomfort.com for a detailed statement. Blue Flame Comfort specializes in residential install, service as well as maintenance with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Ask us about tankless water heaters, high-efficiency furnaces, and heat pumps! Our office and standard hours are listed but our dedicated team of background-checked and thoroughly trained technicians are ready and willing to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency services.
"A tech "Graham" came out for an annual maintenance visit on a reliable 15 year old York Furnace with a 20 year guarantee on the heat exchanger which Blue Flame installed in 2010. He could not explain why he was here, and when I told him "routine annual maintenance" he said, "Let's see what we can find". That was the first sign we had opposite agendas. It went south from there. After lots of loud grinding noises, he supposedly found a shiny jagged gash which he showed me on a scope. I am extremely suspicious he created it himself with a power tool. The end result was the furnace was no longer usable and cost me $8K to have them replace. To add insult to injury that guy ruined my screen door, which won't close anymore. I have ended my 15 year relationship with this company, since I no longer trust them."

One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.

Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
