"No chemicals (we have dogs) and traps are covered with a green small bucket - very discrete - staked into the ground so other animals can't disturb them. Wonderful!"

"We first had them come out to see what the noise was under the house and to re-screen our crawl space vents.  That went well.  We got another noise under the house a week or so later, so called them to come back out, which they did free of charge.  At that time I signed up for their quarterly service plan for preventative pest control.  We have had them out several more times because of noises under the house, but finally think the pest is gone. "

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

You can find a variety of humane bird repellent sprays online and at home improvement stores. However, if you want to try a DIY method that will keep birds away without harming them, mix some water, dish soap, and a few drops of peppermint oil and spray the area you want bird-free. Peppermint oil is a notoriously lovely smell for humans, but birds tend to avoid it.

It is possible, though unlikely, that a home insurance policy will help cover the costs of professional bat removal. However, some policies will chip in for guano removal and associated repairs, such as replacing drywall. Take some time to read the fine print of your homeowner’s insurance policy and call your provider to inquire about bat removal, guano removal, and related repairs.

The brown recluse has numerous predators in the wild (or close to your home). They are a valuable part of the ecosystem, too. Their predators often include birds, praying mantis, crickets, chickens, spider wasps, and more. However, the brown recluse spider is a master at hiding, making it much more difficult for predators to hunt them.

Some birds of prey, like owls, hunt at night. Hawks are diurnal and need good light to see their prey. You could see them circling anytime from dawn to dusk. Species like the common red-tailed hawk are most active in the early morning and late evening when their prey is also typically on the go.

Methods include exclusion devices, netting, and sealing entry points. Professionals ensure compliance with local wildlife regulations.
