"Sean and Richard did an amazing job getting rid of the woodpeckers getting into our attic. They removed the existing woodpecker nests from the attic and installed "bird blocks" around our house in the likely places. They were very nice to work with and very professional. They came when they said they would and did an amazing job, for a fair price and finished quite quickly. They did everything they said they were going to do. They gave us a guarantee and encouraged us to contact him with any questions. I did text Sean, and he responded quickly with a good answer. I would highly recommend U.S. Animal Control of the Great Northwest!"

"I have a new lawn and moles were destroying it.  Mike came when he said he would come.  He put granules in several places in my yard and gave me a 45-day guarantee.  He also assured me that it could take up to two weeks before the moles would be gone.  It took about ten days but then I saw another mound.  Mike sent his crew to my house but another mound again.  Mike came back himself and put his product in the yard.  Hopefully the problem is gone but he said he would come back if I see any more mounds.
Mike was responsive to me and I won't hesitate to call him again if the moles return."

"Lied & Zach are exceptional workers. They do very through inspection of you home &!property from top to bottom, search entry points inside garage, tunneling outside. Then they patch up entry hole & go after the pests. They really do the work to eradicate the pests. Their price is reasonable and fair for te work they do. I very much appreciated their knowledge and experience. I feel relief they are helping me."

"He went right down. there had been a raccoon in the crawlspace and died under there. They went down got all the smell back and get all the critters out. Get back and pour concrete in the crawlspace to prevent animals getting in the crawlspace. Re did the insulation. They did a great job, They did exactly what they said what they would do. I could not recommend them higly."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

If you’ve had a prior bat infestation or simply want to avoid having bats invade your home in the first place, there are a few steps you can take without the need for a pro.

  • Seal entry points, such as where your chimney meets your house, or other gaps or holes exist.

  • Use bat deterrents like bright lights or ultrasonic devices to force them away from your home.

  • Reduce bat attractions like standing water and bird nectar feeders inviting bats into your yard.

Strong scents like peppermint, rosemary, lavender, citronella, and others can repel woodpeckers—as pungent smells can overpower their senses. For that reason, you might consider making a homemade spray with one or a combination of these scents to spritz around areas of your home where woodpeckers frequent.

In most cases, a mother bird will return to a disturbed nest after the disturbance has passed. However, it can be hard for a mother bird to find a relocated nest. So, while it’s false that a mother bird will abandon her nest if it’s been disturbed, it’s not a good idea to relocate a nest with live babies or eggs in it.

An owl's worst enemy in the wild is often other raptors and environmental factors. Among the avian threats, larger owls or other birds of prey can pose a danger, engaging in territorial disputes or competing for food resources. Terrestrial predators like foxes, raccoons, and larger mammals may target owl nests or young fledglings. Environmental factors like severe weather conditions, habitat loss, and food availability changes can also significantly impact owl populations.

Rabbits face a range of formidable adversaries in rural and suburban areas. Natural predators such as hawks, foxes, bobcats, raccoons, coyotes, and weasels pose significant threats to their survival. These skilled hunters target bunnies for food, contributing to regulating rabbit populations. Outdoor housepets can be enemies, too, particularly dogs and cats. And loud little humans playing in your yard make great rabbit deterrents, too.
