"One Call Home Repair did not inform me that just coming out is a minimum $189 charge. The office should have done that. They should be the ones to explain their prices. I was told that a woman in the office--Susan--does not know much. I paid $189 to have 2 book shelves assembled. I went ahead and got it done because I needed it done. I think that they should have a menu of prices for different projects. I can not spend that money again for the job. Otherwise, the repair person is social, pleasant to be around and very skilled."

"We initially contacted Attila Musci at Cascade Window and Glass about replacing the glass in the slider window (both movable and stationary parts) above our kitchen sink in early December 2015. This was being done because we were remodeling our kitchen, i.e. replacing countertops and flooring. Based on our approximate measurements we received a quote and decided to go ahead with the project. While meeting with the tech designer for our kitchen remodel we discovered that once the new countertops were in place we would not be able to remove the kitchen window, so the window repair would need to be done before the countertop installation. This didn't seem to be a problem because we were told that the project probably wouldn't start for several months. When we found out that the project would begin much sooner than expected (to our delight!) , i.e. in the middle of January, we needed to move up the appointment date for Attila to measure the windows. When he came out he discovered that he couldn't remove the windows with the existing faucet in place, so we needed to coordinate the removal of the window glass with the demolition crew removing the old countertops and kitchen fixtures. After many phone calls everything was approved, and the date and time were set for Attila to remove the old window glass, put the new glass in the existing frames, and reinstall the windows -- with a very quick turn-around so as not to delay the demolition crew. Attila was great to work with -- he was willing to change and adapt his schedule as needed to accommodate the timeline for our kitchen remodel. He is very professional and really knows his business. This is the second time that we've worked with him, and will continue to do so as the need arises."

Despite some curve balls I threw (last minute changes to sheetn type, schedule change etc.), Ali, Alex and the crew handled it better than expected (believe me, I had numerous contractors over the years, but these guys handled it better than any I've hired in the past). The paint work also included small patchwork and significant trim (baseboards, window casings, and door/window trim). The crew had to deal walls that were not straight, and they did so nicely and timely. "I am mixed about this company The prices are pretty good, and they see ethical. That counts for a lot. But they are SOOOO slow. They have estimated product arrival dates that turned out to be weeks late. There have also been installation errors, with windows and doors. I have no doubt they will fix them, but I have STILL not been able to schedule repairs/adjustments after weeks of trying. While the reps are kind, the organization lacks some professionalism in their inability to meet promised deadlines, and in their follow up to make corrections and adjustments to their installations. If you have all the time in the world, and lots of patience to keep after them, you could save a bit of money with this company. If you want the job done right the first time, and ON time, best to go with someone else."
