I again reached out since I hadn't heard back and they said they had driven by at one point but wanted to get a closer look so would come back. After multiple attempts of contact with no response, I have since given up. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend based on my experience."

Yes. If you change your mind at some point in the future, you can paint over your limewash. To get an even coat of paint, you should first prep your surface by cleaning it thoroughly and applying an appropriate primer.
