And to top it off I will be the second generation of a painting business. I started painting when I was 16 years old, with my father. He is the owner of Bennington Paintrs. Jeremy Mousseau. We offer discounts to veterans, gym owners and martial art academies/clubs.

"Everything was great! The work was done in a timely manner (it was a rainy summer!) and the job was excellent. Jeremy and his crew are also extremely neat, and the area was clean at the end of each day. Highly recommended!"

We are a general handy man service. We make and refurbish furniture. We work on small renovation projects and do what ever you need. We will always go beyond for our customers

"Very disappointed, it quickly became clear that this person had very little experience with contract work or even good business practices. I felt like I was providing advice on how to run a business, and he wasn't able to make any recommendations about the project. The final straw was the posts he put in weren't secure or safe. I had to spend more money to find someone that would take over and finish the project and redo what had been done. I will say he was polite, and even admitted to being in over his head on a basic deck."

Painting questions, answered by experts

You can test to see if your mist coat has worked by using masking tape after the drying period. Apply masking tape to an inconspicuous area of the wall after the mist coat has had at least 24 hours to dry. Then, peel off the tape. It should come up clear, with no paint residue. If it does have paint residue, you may need to remove the mist coat and try coating the plaster again with a different ratio of paint and water.

While epoxy paint specifically for tile backsplashes exists, it's not always necessary for every project. While epoxy paint is durable, it's also more costly than other types. High-quality enamel paints are suitable for most tile backsplash applications. They also have the added benefit of being more affordable in most cases.

The best finish for wrought iron railings is either a semi-gloss or a gloss sheen, as each offers good durability against rain, wind, heat, cold, and snow.

You should repaint the interior of your house every 2 to 7 years, depending on which room needs repainting and how it's used.  High-traffic areas like hallways, kitchens, and bathrooms need more frequent repainting—typically every 2 or 3 years. Living rooms and dining rooms, which you may use less frequently, can go as long as 5 to 7 years or even longer before they need to be repainted.

While paint drying smoothly on a wall is ideal, a can full of dry paint is not. To open a can of dry paint, you’ll need a tool with a sharp edge, such as a utility knife or a box cutter. Take your tool and score the area where the lid meets the can to break through the dried-up paint. Then, use a paint can opener or a flathead screwdriver to pry the lid open and check the state of the contents. For smaller cans with plastic lids, you can run the top under hot water to loosen the lid.
