"Zeb Snow's company, Snowscapes, has done extensive work on our home in Colchester, VT. He and his team did an amazing job completely remodeling our kitchen and bathroom. The house was truly transformed after Zeb and his team were done. Zeb provided an accurate quote and exact timeframe for the project which was so helpful! This was our first home renovation project so we appreciated Zeb's insight and professional expertise. When we put our home on the market a couple years later, it quickly sold for our desired price largely due to the high quality remodel which was commented upon by real estate agents and the home buyer. If it's a wired lock, examine the electrical connections to confirm they are secure and free from damage. Additionally, inspect the lock's programming or settings. Confirm that user codes or access credentials are programmed correctly and that any remote control devices are paired and functional.

The cost-effectiveness of fixing or replacing a door lock depends on the severity of the issue. Repairing a minor problem, such as loose screws or a need for lubrication, is usually cheaper than replacing the entire lock. However, replacing the lock if it is severely damaged, outdated, or lacks security features may be a better long-term investment. New locks often have improved security features, enhancing your property's safety.
