Started demolition of property and then stopped. He would go for weeks at a time and lie to us when we asked about the progress. Multiple times riding by the property and nothing had been done at all except for a half demolished building. Kept making excuses as to why he had not been there to complete the work and even tried to place blame on us.. After having dealt with the lies and lack of work for three months, finally hired someone else to finish the job and it was completed within two days. Upon further investigation, found out this has happened on multiple jobs before this one. Travis Taylor of Taylor and Co Hauling LLC is nothing but a liar, crook and con artist. Beware if he is recommended and stay far far away."

"I hired this business in good faith after a Tornado hit my house in March 2017. I thought it would be a great opportunity to hire a small company to give us a personal touch. That was a bad thought. Immediately after I gave them the first check I absolutely regretted the decision. Work was performed without a signed contract and cost immediately started to increase. Beach Works Construction (INC) in my opinion, is very unprofessional and not trustworthy to complete the job! The limited number of projects they did complete before they abandoned the job were awful in quality to say the least. It was later found in judicial proceedings that they didn’t possess the required permits to start and finish the job, not to mention the professional expertise that they claimed to possess. After multiple delays I finally signed a contract that was later to be found not in compliance with Virginia laws. Again, I should have thoroughly vetted this organization, as my family and I paid dearly for not doing so, however lesson learned and I honestly would not ever hire or recommend this company to anyone. Key words to describe this company are as follows: Unprofessional, not trustworthy, not prepared, poor workmanship and totally unreliable."
