I hired this business in good faith after a Tornado hit my house in March 2017. I thought it would be a great opportunity to hire a small company to give us a personal touch. That was a bad thought. Immediately after I gave them the first check I absolutely regretted the decision. Work was performed without a signed contract and cost immediately started to increase. Beach Works Construction (INC) in my opinion, is very unprofessional and not trustworthy to complete the job! The limited number of projects they did complete before they abandoned the job were awful in quality to say the least. It was later found in judicial proceedings that they didn’t possess the required permits to start and finish the job, not to mention the professional expertise that they claimed to possess. After multiple delays I finally signed a contract that was later to be found not in compliance with Virginia laws. Again, I should have thoroughly vetted this organization, as my family and I paid dearly for not doing so, however lesson learned and I honestly would not ever hire or recommend this company to anyone. Key words to describe this company are as follows: Unprofessional, not trustworthy, not prepared, poor workmanship and totally unreliable.

Hired this business in good faith after the 2017 Tornado in Virginia Beach and soon after they started work on the house I absolutely regretted the decision. Not a credible or professional business. Quality of work is absolutely awful. The rating tells it all. Beware! I have many more pictures to substantiate my truthful and honest assessment of the horrible job they performed on my house, only to abandon the job...totally unfinished. (pic 1 - dried dripping paint on door which is indicative of the shameful paint job performed all through the house) (pic 2 - Shows the total lack of professionalism and care - this is how Beach Works left me house daily! Based on the work they performed on my house, they should not be in business!
