Customers say: True professional

"Chris and his team were prompt, professional and efficient in hauling away our 670-pound baby grand piano; not an easy feat. Chris was very pleasant to work with and we would hire him again to handle other hauling or junk removal needs"

"I called around 8 AM and left a VM. Within 20 minutes I received a callback. A crew happened to be close to my home so he was able to get them over right away...So quickly in fact I had to ask him to have them take their time because I needed to get ready. Everyone I dealt with was very courteous and professional. It was an overall excellent experience. I looked at prices from numerous other hauling companies, and theirs was the best."

"These guys did a killer job. Competitive quote, showed up same day, and removed 1.5 tons of heavy, oversized material from a storage unit. They will be my first call the next time I need something hauled away. Thanks!"

"AG Demo & Haul did a fantastic job! They arrived right on time, which I really appreciated, and got straight to work. The crew was professional, polite, and very efficient. They cleared everything out quickly without leaving a mess behind. The price was fair and exactly what I was quoted, no surprises. It’s not easy to find a company that’s both reliable and affordable, but AG Demo & Haul checked all the boxes. I would absolutely hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone who needs junk hauling or demo work done."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

When considering how to dispose of other appliances, a landfill is also usually not an option. The biggest difference is that electrical appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, or dishwashers aren’t as easy to transport as a portable microwave. Some local councils offer bulky uplift services (although a fee may apply), scrap metal recyclers might pick yours up, trade-in options on big items are more common, and some utility companies offer incentivized recycling programs.

Products that are hazardous, such as aerosol sprays, top the list of what to leave behind during a move. Avoid packing perishables, garden and garage chemicals, pool supplies, compressed gases, and combustible items. If you are trying to move by yourself, you may want to downsize so you have fewer belongings to pack and move (and then unpack).

Policies vary on what you can throw in a dumpster rental. Some companies will accept large appliances, although you may need to take steps to prepare the washer and dryer for disposal. Some companies don’t allow large appliances in their dumpsters at all, so it’s best to ask the rental company beforehand to find out what its policy is.

The most affordable way to dispose of hazardous waste is to find a local disposal program that accepts hazardous materials with no dumping fees. These programs are available in many communities and are funded by local governments. If you can transport your hazardous materials to the dumping site, you can often get rid of everything at no cost.

They utilize proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent property damage and injury.
