The results came back a week later and it turns out we did not need the remediation they were recommending. I do not think the company was just trying to take my money, and the tech was not pushy in any way. I would just recommend doing the test and getting the lab results to tell you whether you need remediation or not (unless of course, the mold is so obvious it is reaching out to you from the walls). He explained things to me as he went, so I understood what he was looking for and understood what his test equipment results meant. If all the technicians from this company are the same, I recommend them. The mold technician was in and out in 20 minutes. He took an air sample and one swab, that s it. For the price of $299. Once you get the results of your mold test, they refer you to a company that is in the business of selling mold remediation products. Originally as much as $1600 for mold bombs, sprays and commercial graded air scrubber. I negotiated down to $1195. Then settled on only what I needed. Know what you want, do your homework before buying products you do not need."
