It took several hours to tear out what was necessary, not only due to the extent, but because they were thorough and ensured that what they removed, both anticipated and unanticipated, was indeed necessary. I appreciated that. After they set the machinery to dry the infrastructure, I didn't have to clean up after them. Only had to hose the sidewalk from all the wet flakes of drywall that was removed. Sample results and accompanying lab report were emailed within 36 hours. All samples were analyzed by a local lab accredited under the NIST NVLAP Asbestos Fiber Analysis Lab Accreditation Program, so I felt comfortable trusting the results. The inspector seemed very knowledgeable and helped walk us through any areas that could be of concern. Thankfully all samples were negative, but the modest inspection and sampling fees were well worth the piece of mind during our remodel. In short, I highly recommend this company for asbestos testing/inspections."

He called us later and lowered his price to keep his crew working and we were very happy for someone that really wanted our business. They were very prompt on the day of the removal. "Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible.
