"Joe Elko gave a direct quote; outlined what problems we could run into. He talked straight which is refreshing when apprehensive about paying for upgrades. I wanted to replace the 1982 butcher block laminate but keep the sink and faucet. He came over for measurements before I had to go to work; showed samples to choose from. It was a quick and easy process. Showed up as promised with an assistant & got right to work and did an outstanding job at an incredibly reasonable price! I priced prefab laminate countertops & redid my bathroom countertop myself. The problems and costs involved to do it myself told me I needed to get someone professional for my kitchen. It was NO cost saving to do my bathroom countertop myself! "I found Laser Marble and Granite, Inc. through HomeAdvisor in early August. Edwin Rodriguez was the first to respond to my request. He was very professional, and informative. He helped me make decisions about stone for my kitchen before I even started looking for stone. Edwin agreed to meet us later the same day for a free estimate, after normal business hours! I was impressed. We purchased our home 2 years ago and have been in a constant remodel phase to make it our own. Our kitchen is on the north side of our our house, and while it has a large window, it gets very little natural light. We still have to turn on the lights at noon. Our kitchen had over 1000 sqft of dark granite, so we wanted something lighter. Edwin sent us to several granite showrooms to include Laser’s. He suggested PRISM, which was the best! They had stone we liked and didn’t see any where else! After selecting a stone, Edwin presented us with an estimate that we could work with. (My first selection was a quartzite! VERY PRETTY AND EXPENSIVE!!! LOL) Then life got in the way and we had to put things on hold. Edwin was very patient and understanding. THEN.... Sept 17th- Go time! I called Edwin and said “ We’re ready, let’s do this!” And I headed off to PRISM to select our slabs. We needed 3. They were delivered to Laser the next day! Sept 19th- Edwin came out for final measurements and details, again, after normal business hours! No templating (which I must say made us skeptical because that’s how we’s Seen it done before. And Edwin’s is such a young guy too! LOL). Sept 21st. I go out to Laser to meet with Edwin for layout. (I love home design) Sept 24th DELIVERY! 1 WEEK! Edwin and his crew of 3 (4 at one time) arrived on time, and stayed until the job was done! They had to remove the existing granite and they the did it without damaging a single stone of the existing backsplash! In fact, they had to precision cut one countertop to fiit under the backsplash! EDWIN and his crew did an AMAZING job! My kitchen looks AMAZING! Edwin treated our home as if it was his home. These are the kinds of companies we like in our home. These are the kinds of companies we will continue to do business with. The old granite will be donated to a nonprofit organization and Laser Marble and Granite will do the installation under Edwin’s direction. M & A Bass, Chesterfield"

"This was our second time using J & M. Great group of folks. The roof and siding look great. We gave a B because there were a few hiccups this go around. Not enough material was ordered to complete the shed. The crew left nails everywhere and we have 4 small dogs which was frustrating. It took longer than expected to have siding done. However, Melissa was very polite and did her best to accommodate us. We would definitely use them again for our future siding or roofing needs despite the length of time that it took this time."
