"Great work. We love our new basement, all of the work was completed as we wanted. The work was better than our original builder. Our new bathroom we had built in the basement turned out better than expected and is currently one of the nicer bathrooms in the house. Tile work tured out well and has not had not had any problems with cracking. No problem with the plumbing and electrical work. The LED lights they put in are bright and work well. We had a couple of nail pops and a small crack from settling within the first year but everything else has stood up well."

They completed the job within the timeline and more importantly within the budget. With most renovations there are occasional surprises and the crew handled them with ease and continued on to completion.

"Dave is absolutely terrific.  This is the 4th time I have used him for re-modeling work and I was not disappointed.  His workmanship is first rate.  He pays meticulous attention to detail, which is especially important in tiling work.  His carpentry work is equally well done.  He is very innovative and can offer excellent suggestions on how to improve your basic re-modeling concepts.  He is totally responsive to the customer.  He will do whatever you want him to do and change whatever you want him to change.  He does not argue with you or try to make you feel like you're an idiot when you ask a question or propose an idea (like some contractors and most car mechanics).  He tries to figure out how to make what you want happen.  He is extremely knowledgeable about the full scope of his profession, including all code requirements.  He does not cut corners and is just as concerned about getting the stuff you don't see right as he is about getting the stuff you see right.  He is totally honest and up front about all his work and his costs.  The cost of this particular project (or projects) did increase but that was because the project evolved.  He was completely up-front about costs as the project evolved.  In some cases the costs increased because he found rotting pipes behind the walls (shoddy materials used by the builder) and other hidden problems.  He showed me those problems and explained the costs in both material and time.  He is completely trustworthy.  I had no qualms about giving him the ability to let himself into my house and work there alone.  I have never had a problem.  He is very careful about cleaning up after himself too.  Despite the major work being done my house was still livable and presentable enough for me to have guests.  Dave is a one-man contractor show which allows him to be totally flexible in meeting your needs, to give you a great price and to work with a focus on quality and getting the job done right rather than paying attention to a clock or the calendar.  The only drawback with Dave being a one-man show is that he has no real back-up.  If he gets sick or his truck breaks down or he has to deal with a family issue, there is no one to come and substitute for him.  So there is a need for his customers to be flexible when working with him.  Everything always gets done and it always gets done to perfection but, depending on the type of job it is, it may take longer than either you or Dave originally planned.  He is also sometimes hard to get in touch with because he's running in so many directions.  Persistence pays off though.  That said, if you want a contractor who is totally trustworthy and does absolutely superior work at an excellent price, there is no better guy to call than Dave.  I will definitely continue to use him for any home remodeling needs.

The look of the stairs is simple, classic and very attractive, and structurally the work is absolutely solid and without a tremble or creaking underfoot. "The technician who came out to take measurements claimed that he was part of the design team for both this company. He also claimed he was a designer for the Devon Hill housing development in which I lived at that time, so he was familiar with houses and the kitchen cabinets. After he took the measurements, he promised he would send me a rendering of the design to my email, but I never received this design for a kitchen remodel. I tried to contact them at least once directly, but I could not speak with anyone in person. I left a voicemail that was never returned. Then I contacted Angie's List for assistance."
