However, I know that sanding hardwood floors is a scale and if you mess it up you have to live with that mistake. I researched local Fredericksburg hardwood floor resurfacing companies and found capital flooring. Nelson responded to my request within 30 minutes and came out that same day to give me a price quote. I was surprised at the cost of the total job. I was even a little skeptical at first. It’s incredible how fast they work and how exceptionally well the floors look. They are very professional and proficient. I’m so glad I hired capital flooring and I am exceptionally pleased with the product. They sanded off the top layer of my hardwood floors, mixed a stain that matched my new vinyl floors, and applied two coats of oil based polyurethane for the finish. They also installed, and stained flush registers for my exposed ducts and stained new transition pieces to go from hardwood to vinyl flooring. They were on time (I think even a bit early), was able to explain the process, and had books so that i could select the style and type of banisters and balausters I wanted. Even though I later learned some of the requested items weren't written down, then not included on the estimate. They have kept in contact to get that item fixed. The crew that did the work was phenomenal. They were on time every day. The house was empty, so I didn't have to worry about dust on furniture and they had the entire floor to work with.
