We recently had Dan come out to give us a free quote for two windows that were leaking and showing some minor water damage. From the moment he arrived, Dan was professional, friendly, and incredibly thorough. He took his time inspecting both windows and clearly explained where the moisture was building up and what signs to keep an eye on moving forward.
What really stood out was his honesty—rather than pushing unnecessary repairs, Dan let us know that the issue could be mitigated on our own by using dehumidifiers and keeping the window areas clean. He walked us through exactly where the buildup was happening and gave us practical tips to manage it ourselves.
It's rare to come across an honest company that is not money hungry. We wouldn’t hesitate to call Dan and Exceptional Restoration Services again in the future!

My mother-in law made an appointment to have her bathroom ceilings checked for mold, however, the person supposed to check was super late and irritated because my mom had called to see where they were at so we canceled the appointment. Not professional at all.

I had a terrible experience with EXCEPTIONAL RESTORATION. From start to finish, their service was unprofessional, unresponsive, and completely lacking in accountability. Not only did they fail to resolve the issue they were hired for, but their communication was poor and their handling of the situation caused more stress than relief. Despite multiple attempts to get updates and cooperation, they showed no urgency or respect for the damage done to my property. I regret ever trusting them with such an important job and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. You expect a restoration company to bring peace of mind — instead, this company brought me nothing but frustration and loss of time and money.

As we have stated we are only able to remove and dry the water in your basement but you need to hire a plumber and contractor to solve the leak and fix the drywall that had to be cut. The origin of the water is coming from your neighbors property and therefore you need a plumber to resolve the issue so that water will stop flowing into your property. We have contractors that we can refer you to in case you need references. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do for you."

We were VERY disappointed with this company on multiple levels. When I balked at the estimate for the hardwood floor work, their phone rep claimed the job included a 3-year warranty on the sealer. It did not. After setting up their equipment, they explained that cleaning the carpeted stairs would cost nearly as much as the 3 rooms they cleaned. Their truck ran the whole 2+ hours they were there, forcing me to stop painting the garage as I was choking on fumes. The next day I found small stains on the stairs which I cleaned. When I inspected the hardwood floors, the finish was very uneven – glossy in some areas and dull in others -- which means they applied only a single coat of sealer and that the work was done poorly. When I asked for the warranty paperwork, the response was “what warranty?” This property is a rental unit and the new tenants moved in two days after this Zerorez work was completed. Zerorez management offered to inspect the work and add more sealer to the hardwood, but now there was furniture and boxes in the rooms. They refunded part of the overpriced hardwood job and had no explanation for the lie about the sealer warranty. I don’t expect vendors to be perfect, but this was one too many problems for two simple tasks. While we appreciate the partial refund, I will never use this company again and cannot recommend them to anyone.

The sealer does not carry a "warranty" so to speak, however it is designed to protect the floor for up to 1-3 years depending on foot traffic and cleaning frequency. We apologize that this was not more clearly conveyed to you during the booking process. We wish we had the opportunity to rectify the situation before your new tenants occupied the residence, it deeply saddens us we did not have the chance to make things right. We are positive if we had been able to come back out your impression of our company would be much different."

Marcus, a representative for Zerorex came out to price cleaning my carpets. He was very fair in price and also very personable. An appointment was made and when he came again all went very well and in a timely fashion.I worked with another carpet cleaner about a year ago in another home and the experience did not go nearly as smooth.
