"I was surprised that Mike answered my phone call on a Sunday after 5PM when my hot water heater broke. We agreed he would come Monday morning. He was prompt, courteous and efficient. My hot water heater had to be ordered as it is an older type of system. The next day, I noticed some leaking. Mike's son came out and stopped the leak and was able to restore hot water to our house (we have a 2 tank system) while we waited for the new one to arrive. The new tank arrived and they very promptly got it installed for us. I had been using a larger plumbing company that always charged an exorbitant fee just to show up at my front door. PMK Plumbing did NOT nickle and dime me like the larger plumbing companies do. I am delighted to find a personal, independent plumbing company for my future plumbing needs! "After they repaired the leak and charged the system with 410A refrigerant, they informed me that there is an additional problem and the unit still was not running. They told me it needed a new TXV. they gave me a part number to order and said they would come back to install. I ordered the part and about a week later they came back. At that point they told me that the part was the wrong one (I double checked, it was the part number they texted to me, confirmed). SInce I had gone for several weeks without heat at this point, I went ahead and researched it myself and ordered the correct TXV and they said they would come back and install. Another week went by and it tried to contact them several times and they ignored me. Finally they told me that they were too busy and would not come back, leaving me with two parts that I ordered and unit still down. I had to hire another person to repair unit and it cost me an additional$285 to recharge unit properly."
