"From quote to completion was less than 2 weeks. They poured almost 1300 square feet of concrete for my driveway. They removed the old crush and run, leveled the ground, set forms, poured, textured, relief cuts, and a thorough cleanup. They even raked my pea gravel back into place. Excellent price, very professional, and I would definitely recommend them to a friend."

Customers say: True professional

"We reached out and were able to coordinate Francisco coming out for a quote. Got a quote that day. We decided to move forward a few days later and they started that week. The process was very quick and easy. Francisco made sure to ask about colors and finish that we wanted, and listened to all of the details we specified originally (like rounded edges). We love the patio and have already received many compliments on it!"

"I would highly recommend Comblentz for any concrete work, whether new construction or repair. Their price was quite reasonable, and the work was done professionally. The owner of Coblentz Construction and Concrete came over the same day my husband called and provided an estimate. Once we agreed to have the work done, they set up an appointment for the following Monday. They arrived promptly, cleared out all the old concrete and poured a new section. They came back the next day to complete the work. We are very satisfied."

"I found Hipp Masonry on Angie's list along with 2 other vendors that were rated about the same. All 3 were rated good. I called all 3 and Chuck (owner) called me back within a couple of hours. 1 other vendor called me back several days later, never heard from the last one. Chuck said he was available to come over and look at the job the same afternoon so that was great. He came over and we looked at the outside of the fireplace and the chimney and we discussed some options. Chuck is a very nice gentlemen and it was clear he was very knowledgeable about his business. He also looked at our front porch that needs some work. He got back to me in a couple of days, gave us a price on both the fireplace and the porch, told me if i did the porch work he would do the fireplace for free. That sounded like a pretty good deal but we did think the porch price was a little high and with the holiday's coming we decided to hold off on the porch and get the fireplace done. Here is the deal. The fireplace was very poorly designed as in the opening of the fireplace was way to large for the size of the flue and the height of the chimney. Smoke would come out the front of the fireplace because there was too much air and not enough draft. Our fireplace company suggested we raise the bottom of the firebox to decrease the opening and bring the fire grate closer to the flue. We tested this before hand by putting bricks under the grate to raise it up and it worked but the fire required too much attention because the coals were too far a from the logs. What Hipp Masonry did was install a new layer of fire brick on the bottom and then install a row of bricks cut in half in front of the new layer of fire brick that matched the brick on the exterior of the fireplace. It is actually a 10 foot wall of brick with the fireplace at one end.The match is not perfect, but it close and it looks great. The gentlemen that the performed work, did a terrific job and it was clear he knew what he was doing as well. He answered all my questions and was meticulous about the craftsmanship. We are extremely pleased with how it turned out. We can't wait for it to dry and cure so we can use it. We will be calling Hipp Masonry back to do our porch work in the spring. Based on the job they did on the fireplace, I am sure the porch will turn out great as well. Highly recommend this company.

"The work was done exactly as I asked and they truly did a professional job. I’m very pleased with the initial landscaping they did (trimming hedges, shrubs, and trees as well as mulching and detailing flower beds). The cutting and edging is being done as I requested. I plan on using them for a hardscape project and I’ll post on that experience when completed."

"A friend of mine usually does my tile work because he is a perfectionist, as am I  ---  but he injured his arm and couldn't perform this job. I was hesitant to hire anyone else, to re tile the Master Bedroom Shower, as I wanted an exceptional job.  After looking through reviews and Angies List, I choose Belletto Construction (turned out to be a great choice).  Clarence, who did all the work, was friendly, very courteous, and respected my wishes and our house.  As soon as he started working I could tell he was extremely experienced and had done this many times before. I thought I was a perfectionist!  His specialty seems to be how he cuts tiles --- complex corners, holes, smooth edges and angles are not a problem.  His finished product is a show piece and I wouldn't hesitate to show his work to anyone.   I used the shower this morning for the first time and all the water flowed directly to the linear drain.  No water puddling occured anywhere -- not on the floor, not on the granite seat or shelves.  When we re-tile the downstairs bathroom and shower, I know who I'll call  ----   without hesitation.

Get-It-Done provided a prompt estimate/design leading to their selection over several other contractors.  Their estimate was not the cheapest(was close to lowest estimate) but my wife and I both agreed that Get-It -Done had the best idea of what we wanted, that their ideas were best suited to our vision. The contract clearly listed what they would accomplish and properly defined what we (owner) were responsible for (listed what products and actions were our responsibility). There were no cost surprises or unexpected plus ups. CI Cabinets, (reviewed separately) sealed the deal by asking my wife how she cooked and continued working with my wife to accommodate  her mobility issues in kitchen/cabinet design. Work started on time, proceeded as promised with no delays until the job was done.  Two problems, (tile layout for the fireplace, a phone line was not reconnected) were corrected with 24 hours) to our full satisfaction.  Unique ideas included:

 - a Shelf over the TV to host the sound bar. Looks great-near invisible- great sound

- mobile kitchen island that is level with the upper oven and rolls to serve as needed.  Wife love it.

- lighting in the kitchen and a room now provide bright, clear vision for old eyes.

- Built-in cabinets in the living room match the kitchen that add to the open space look.

Get-It-Done was great. Courteous, professional, safe, clean, and finished on time. Rework was near none existent. Home build in 1987 is modernized to better than new condition and looks awesome. The recommendation to upgrade initial flooring to solid core bamboo and  the kitchen design have resulted in positive comments from everyone who has seen them. The quality of the work was super and we feel blessed with the overall job. The value for the dollar was super considering the scope of work performed and the final costs were well within reach.

Our intent is to use Get-It-Done in the future and recommend Get-It-Done at every opportunity.

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Since water heaters are primarily made of metal, they’re commonly accepted by scrap yards and collectors. Don’t expect to fetch a high price, though—water heaters are mostly steel and aluminum, which aren’t high-value metals. Some components are made of more valuable metals, like brass and copper, but they’re a small portion of the heater and won’t affect the price much.

It will likely take an experienced pro less than an hour to install a ground rod, which is another reason why letting them handle the job is such a good idea. Safety concerns aside, it would likely take you much longer to install a ground rod if you decided to take this one as a DIY job.

Sawing your hot tub into more manageable chunks so it can be lifted easily into a truck takes several hours. Generally, 2.5 hours for smaller hot tubs and around 4 hours for larger ones with the help of one to two people. If money isn't a concern and you want to skip the physical labor, you can hire a pro to get the job done.

Yes, but you’ll need reliable steel-cutting tools and safety gear to get started. Shipping containers are typically around ¾ inch thick, so it’s entirely possible to cut through them, but experience and the right equipment are very important. When possible, try to get a container as close to the size you want it as possible.

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.
