"Our primary bathroom remodel by Sosa General Contractor LLC is a true oasis with its serene color palette and spa-like features. With Jose Sosa as our our general contractor we experienced a seamless transformation with excellent craftsmanship. The large walk-in shower with multiple shower heads is perfect for a luxurious bathing experience. The tiling is a work of art! There was clear communication with Jose at all times. He was so attentive and sensitive to our special needs. From design consultation to clear communication with Jose we achieved a finished product that closely matches the initial vision, and a smooth project execution with minimal disruption, leaving us highly satisfied with our primary bath! "Tito did a great job in installing hardware badly needed in 3 closets. He knew what was needed to ensure sturdy shelving would be created. He was very professional and respectful of my home while there, cleaned up after himself, and was a very good value. I highly recommend Tito for any services he performs and would definitely contact him again for help on any type of home improvement project."

"Anthony and his team installed a kitchen exhaust and new chimney hood. The overall work was good but could not give 5 stars due to minor details (slight exposed hole in ceiling, flex duct used instead of solid construction, a leftover loose tile). Important to consider Anthony's price came in lower than others so the install was a bargain. Would recommend if you don't mind little details and want a job done quickly and affordably."

"He did a good job on the work, confirmed work and did some small items we discovered we needed done. He made good recommendations and did what he said. He was easy to work with, it went well. when one estimate was higher then we expected he came back out and we reduced scope of work to get within our budget."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Yes, professionals can offer design advice and material selections that complement existing architecture.

You have three options in terms of professionals who can draw up blueprints: a draftsperson, an architect, or a structural engineer. A draftsperson can sometimes draw up plans for new construction, but they more often work from approved plans for alterations or to provide 3D drawings. Architects are usually the best option for standard residential construction projects. Structural engineers might be necessary for custom home builds or for alterations that could affect your home’s structural integrity. Draftsmen cost the least of the three, followed by architects and then structural engineers.

There are several different steps in the pole barn building process. First, you’ll need construction plans, which you’ll use to obtain permits. Then, you can clear the land so it’s suitable for building and installing the foundation. Your contractor will frame the barn using large poles, then rough in the plumbing and electricity (if your barn has those elements) before finishing the interior, adding siding, and installing the roof.

After that, they’ll finish up the electrical work and plumbing and add your windows and doors. You may have a few other finishing jobs to do like painting or waterproofing.

The cost to draw house plans typically ranges from $800 to $2,700, with standard blueprints averaging around $1,800. For a custom home, the cost is higher, with blueprints often falling between $5,000 and $20,000, and potentially more for very complex designs. Several factors influence the total price, including the project's size, the number of rooms, the type of drawings required, and the architect's experience level. You may also need to pay a structural engineer to ensure building safety, particularly for custom homes.

Costs depend on project complexity, software requirements, and the draftsperson’s experience.
