Trustworthy, honest advice, and he answered all my questions thoroughly with visual and verbal explaination. Lux is a company I would recommend and use in the future. In my personal opinion, Alex saved me $10-30k in waterproofing. He said that I did not have a moisture issue in my basement and he gave me 3 things I could do to make my basement environment safe and sound for the future. A different contractor came in and gave me a free estimate to put a sump pump in for $7k and then I’d need to finish my basement for an estimate of $20k. Alex from Lux, said I had a dry foundation and that my mold on my vinyl was likely a cause from a leak years ago from my washer or my dishwasher a level above. They offered a reasonable solution (sealing the visible cracks and holes in the concrete and I was contacted within a couple of days with an estimate and scheduling options. Sean was our tech and he did a fantastic job diagnosing the issue beyond just the cracks. He not only address all the holes and cracks in the concrete and mortar, he sealed up additional entry points above the foundation. He sourced additional materials to cover openings for cable lines. He went above and beyond and gave us measured information on how we should continue to monitor and treat this area as the house settles. He was thorough, informative, and provided excellent service in his work. I'm very glad that Sean was the technician sent to us and I would specifically request him for your projects."
