"The process went very smoothly. There were several teams that worked on my project. The initial workers removed all of the old insulation and trash left under the house during construction, and cleaned the joists. Later a perimeter drain system was installed, and the final job was to insulate the foundation perimeter and install the vapor barrier.
All the work was done in a professional manner and the workers were all very courteous. They were on time and on budget."
"Matt Epperly was very professional and new about insulation for our crawl space. He came and went under our house and took pictures. We did not know about the mold which he showed us. He made the suggestion of the spray foam and the Friction-fit rigid foam board door panel to be installed behind our existing crawl space access door. Spray Foam in crawl space rim and band joist for air-sealing and insulation. He also mentioned before the foam insulation spraying anti-microbial solution on all crawl space wood substructure. We were also told we would get free a Wireless Hygrometer. It displays the temperature and humidity both inside your crawl space. It was all accomplished in a few hours. They informed us for our protection to leave the home and come back. Everything was done neatly and no mess left."

They did a thourough visual inspection of the house and made sure that outlets, plumbing, gas and light fixtures were working properly and had the necessary covers on them. After the visual inspection with photos being taken they performed a thermal scan of the walls in the house to look for moisture and possible infestations. "

Polyisocyanurate foam, or polyiso for short, has the highest R-value per square inch: 6.5 to 6.8. Polyiso is a rigid foam that comes with a reflective foil on both sides to serve as a radiant barrier. Given its high R-value, rigid foam is usually meant for foundations and basement walls.
To cover your HVAC ducts and air vents during construction, use plastic sheets or drop cloths secured with painter's tape. Be sure to cover all supply vents on your floors and walls, as well as the larger HVAC return vent, which is typically on the ceiling.
