"The personnel I interacted with in preparation for the install as well as the install crew have been excellent and made the whole install experience quite pleasant."
"The company agreed to postpone install to work around an upcoming vacation we had. Very pleased with the product and price. There was one small miscommunication regarding shutters going back on after install but the company remedied the problem immediately. Overall very pleased with the entire process from start to finish."
"From Geller Environmental Labs' recommendation I contacted Young Environmental for an asbestos abatement proposal. . Within one-day, Young Environmental was quickly available to survey the site and within one day provided an asbestos abatement proposal accompanied by license and insurance information. . Young's abatement price was similar to the oral estimate provided by Envirotex Environmental. . Very smooth and fast operation; arrive a little earlier than originally planned which was not a issue. Crew of 4-6 sealed the room, established vacuum / filter to apply negative pressure room, donned appropriate attire and respirators, and proceeded to scrape away two tile layers, and then using a petroleum base solvent dissolved and wiped away mastic. . Space was ready for the Post-Abatement visual and air quality inspection within two hours of beginning work and the on-site arrival of the Geller Environmental Labs asbestos project monitor to provide industrial hygiene services who cleared the space. . Only downside for which I was advised; the "odorless" petroleum distillate solvent used to remove the mastic is anything but odorless. However, the odor is quickly waning as the solvent evaporates. . Management arrived on-site to ensure the process started correctly. Staff appeared knowledgeable and worked effectively and efficiently.

"John sent a confirmation on the date and time a few days before the work, they were on time and they informed me on what they were doing and asked me questions. They cleaned up the work area when they were done. Very happy with the installation"
"Beautiful! Mike has redone my bathrooms, kitchen, painted nearly every room in my house, painted my siding and doors, installed new shutters, laid carpet, installed hardwood doors, power washed the house, worked on my roof, changed toilets...you name it, he’s done it! Mike does great work!"
"I first utilized HCR in the August/September time frame. The sales rep., Robin was very pleasant. She did not come off as a high pressure sales person. We engaged in conversation. Her demo of windows was great. I placed an order an order for nine (9) windows to be installed. Due to the supply chain shortage, I did not receive my product and installation until January. Robin had apprised me of this delay upon our initial meeting. The installers were punctual and worked diligently. They installed the windows in one day. I did observe a rip in one of the screens. I placed a call to HCR to inform them of my observation. They said they would replace the screen, which they did in a very timely fashion. I reached out to Robin in September 2022, as I was ready to commence installation of the remainder of the windows, which in total was twelve (12). Robin arrived at my residence. She did the demo and I signed for the purchase. The targeted date for installation was set. There was a brief delay due to the type of living room windows I have - palladium and they are in two pieces. I received a call on or about January 16/17, 2023, apprising me that my windows are in. I set a date for installation - January 24, 2023, with a window of arrival time between 8-11 a.m. The four installers arrived @ 8:30. The immediately commenced to work. They put down a heavy covering for the floors and went at it until completion @ about4ish. I am extremely satisfied with HCR. As you can see, I am a “repeat” customer. I highly recommend them. I saw in one review someone said that they use unlicensed installers. Like any company, they have to go through extensive training and most individuals are not very knowledgeable about their job. They receive training ."
"they worked with me to find the size panels I most wanted at reasonable cost and installers were true pros. Price was the best I could find after meeting with several siding companies. Siding looks picture perfect!"
"We reached out to ERS after a traumatizing house fire. They were amazingly professional, caring, prompt, and knowledgeable in every aspect of helping us with demolition to rebuild. They were our angels and have helped us through an extremely challenging time. We would definitely call on Chad and his team again if we ever needed any home damage service."
There are a few ways to save money on egress window installation. First, choosing pre-fabricated windows instead of custom windows can help dramatically reduce the overall cost. In addition, skipping window extras, like customized frames or window film, can help save money on the price tag without sacrificing the window itself. You should also shop around to multiple window installers to find the best installation deal without sacrificing the quality of the window.
Most modern egress windows installed in basements open outward into a window well, although some older homes have in-swing windows. Egress windows, like casement windows used in other parts of the home, such as bedrooms and bathrooms, may open inward, and these windows are often larger than outward-opening windows.
Installing a window well costs anywhere from $500 to $1,500 or more. Adding an egress window and well runs about $3,900 on average. Adding a window well cover to the project can add $200 to $700. A well cover helps protect your egress windows from weather damage and keeps them clear of dirt, debris, and wildlife.
To find and hire a reputable contractor for an egress window installation, you should first research local professionals and then vet your top candidates. Start by searching for local contractors who specialize in this type of work, read their customer reviews, and examine their website and portfolio. Once you have a shortlist, contact them to ask key questions: Are you licensed and insured? What is your specific experience installing egress windows? Can you provide references from previous customers? Do you perform the work yourself or use subcontractors? What is the estimated project timeline and your current schedule? How do you handle payment?
Most professionals can install a window well in two to three days, depending on the size of the well and the window you want inside it. If you’re just replacing an existing window well, the work is much less intensive, and most experts can get the job done in just one day. Connecting the window well to a drainage system or installing a custom concrete window well will naturally take longer, but even the most complicated installations shouldn’t take more than three days.
