Aquatic Construction originally installed our system 5 years ago and have done the service and maintenance for us ever since. They always charge a reasonable price for services, and the installation quote they gave us was the best one we found. Recently, we needed additional sprinklers added to our system when we had a pool installed along with a large amount of sod around it. They went ourt of their way to schedule the add-on sprinklers to help us take care of the new sod. They also quickly sent one of their guys out to repair one of the sprinkler zones that had been damaged during the pool installation. Kenny is very professional and courteous, and his team always does a good and careful job. Jennifer handles the scheduling and is always willing to help out with getting them to the house when they are needed. All their staff is very knowledgable about installing, repairing and maintaining they systems they install. We would not want to hire anyone else

AFM Landscaping & Irrigation A couple of years ago In June I noticed that my husband forgot to schedule the spring maintenance for the sprinkler system. I called the usual people/companies who service our community and got responses like: “we only do that type of work in the spring and fall,” “We are booked solid for the next 3 months.” or no one returned my phone calls. I finally found a company, AFM Landscaping & Irrigation, that answered my call and the owner, Alvaro Figueroa, arrived at my home the following day at the appointed time to provide the 6-month service on our sprinkler system. Mr. Figueroa worked swiftly and charged less than the other companies/people who serviced it previously. His company continued to provide this routine maintenance for me a couple of years along with some miscellaneous landscaping work. This year our neighbor and I agreed that we needed to address the excessive runoff water problem around our houses that left the ground between our houses soggy most of the time. I called Mr. Figueroa and he provided an analysis of the excess water situation and gave me a quote of a drainage system that would alleviate the problem. I also got another quote from a similar irrigation company. AFM Landscaping & Irrigation price was lower and he could do the work the following week. The other company was not able to do the work for 3 months because they were “booked” plus their quote was higher. AFM Landscaping & Irrigation completed the work on the designated day and the new water management system is performing as designed. They took special care by laying a tarp on the ground where the wheel barrows were used to prevent any damage to my lawn and neighbors’ lawns/property. The tech did a good job. I had a minor problem with a leak on two pop up sprinklers had a small leak, after a few days I called them to notify of the issue. Bill Gallagher, one of the owners of the company, came to my residence to discuss scope of work needed. He was very through with the details and clearly explained the scale of work and materials needed. He suggested ways I could save on expenses with repurposing materials onsite and simply tie new irrigation heads into existing lines. Quality of work and materials used were excellent. They could have used a sod farm located closer to the job site to save on time and money, but chose to use one further away because the quality of the sod was superior. In all instances, communication was prompt and clear. I plan on using them for future work and would recommend Green Side Up Landscaping for any landscaping and lawn care needs

"Amazing, super-fast response, were able to schedule the service incredibly quickly, came out when they said they would, reasonable price consistent with their estimate. They just finished so I can't confirm everything was done right until the walkway goes in but they certainly seemed to know what they were doing. The best irrigation company I have ever worked with by far.
"The project started a little late because the rain pushed some of his other projects back but we were in no hurry ... we've waited 14 years to do this project so one week really wasn't a big deal. I've never seen a team of people work so hard and work so long on a project. The men would show up at 7:00 AM and sometimes work until 8:30 that evening. The sod looks great. The irrigation system is working fine and we will hire them on a monthly basis to take care of our property.

"I don't like working with construction companies. Communication is difficult, deadlines missed, hidden costs, extras tagged on and you live in fear of the work being completed correctly.
<br /> I called about 9 companies back in April 2014 for a fairly large hardscape project. Two never returned my call, two came and never provided a quote, one came and gave a good quote but communication afterwards was a nightmare and their lead time for work was 2 months. Three other quotes were poorly presented or too high.
<br /> Able Landscaping was the first company we saw. Rick spent plenty of time with us understanding our project. Quote came within a week. Communication was clear and quick. We then had a setback with an easement issue and scraped the entire project. Plan B was developed and Rick came out again and gave us a new quote within a few days.
<br /> I was a little concerned about using Able Landscaping because of the lack of reviews. They have been in business for 25 years and I had hoped to find more online testimonials.. however, the lack of them can also be a good thing, people are more likely to post when upset or angry with a bad project.
<br /> Anyway, we proceeded and lead time for work was approx 3-4 weeks. They arrived on time and we spent an hour getting to the detail of the project with the guys doing the work. Exact measurements and grading was done and a plan developed. During the week they hit a few snags (hitting irrigation pipes we did not know about) and each time they worked through the problem. They worked late each evening so I was always able to chat with them after work and discuss issues.
<br /> The standard of work was excellent. In a project this size, there are so many corners that can be cut and hidden from the owner and I saw nothing that gave me concern. When they were looking for solid ground for one area of the foundation and found soft bouncy dirt (dead roots), they kept digging. They did not nickle and dime me for everything. For example, I had intended to move the raised beds into position myself, but the time frame did not work out so they moved them for me to my specification.
<br /> The final invoice was as expected. No surprises. Overall, an excellent experience and a great company.

"The company is a husband and wife team. They do absolutely excellent work. Actually a lot of homeowners in the local new subdivisions are using them. My yard is cut for $40 a week and it is extra if you need to have additional fertilizing done. They come when they are supposed to. There is never any mess left behind in the yard. We also ended up needing some type of filtering system to filter out iron that was turning our hardscaping yellow/orange. Connor did the research and found a system that would work for us.
