"Loayes Painting company did an excellent, high-quality, and professional job at a fair price for my interior painting work prior to move-in on my recently purchased home in the District of Columbia. My home is older and needed significant surface repairs to the plaster on walls and ceilings. The Loayes team did an excellent job from start to finish -- making an in-person visit to provide a quote, providing a competitive price, and doing the good work. All throughout, the team was very responsive to my questions and keeping me updated on the progress. The work included high quality repairs and taping of plaster cracks and nail holes, spot-priming, then wall, ceiling, and trim painting with colors of my choosing, as well as painting of heating radiators. The original estimate was for 3-4 days, and in the end it took 5 days, but the cost remained the same. The Loayes team told me their goal was to do the job right. The work was excellent. The walls look fresh and new. I am very happy with Loayes Painting. I plan to work with them again in the future. And I would highly recommend their work."

"I was very happy with the professional interior paint job done in my house. The whole house was covered properly so that there were no spills or messes on my furniture or carpets. Painting lines at wall borders, trims, etc. were very clean, and you could tell there was extra care put into those areas. Work was completed in a timely manner, and in fact I was working under a very tight deadline, but that proved to be no issue to get the work done in time for me to meet my deadline, which was a giant relief for me. 

In terms of the special painting that I had completed on the house, I couldn't have been more impressed with the artistic ability of the painter. I had my column finished to look like marble, and I was amazed at how well it turned out, and how you could not even tell it wasn't truly marble. I absolutely loved how the gold foiling around my fireplace came out, it looked absolutely beautiful!! The craftsmanship of the painter was evident in the details and overall look. I am already thinking of what I can have him do next.

"I contacted Rent Painters to paint the interior and exterior of my townhouse. I set an appointment with Chris to look at the project. He arrived promptly and we walked through the house. A few days later he provided me an estimate for labor and material. The estimate was fair and I contracted the work. The crew came as agreed and they completed the work in just a few days. The quality of work was excellent. My house looks fully refreshed. I could not be happier with the end product. I will call them again for my next paint project and I highly recommend them!"

Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.

"Wow, what a difference! Our walls were a hot mess before Jud and Luke came to town. The previous owners attempted faux painting in two rooms, and there were years of bad repairs. Not to mention all the damage from removing crown molding. Artistry Painting took it from gross to stunning. They even rented a special piece of equipment to reduce the sanding dust since we had so many repairs. Their painting is clean and sharp, and their wallpaper work is top notch. They bent over backwards trying to please me. I would most definitely hire them again.
