"We found a leak under our kitchen sink about three weeks after moving in to our house.  Having never needed a plumber before, we searched on Angie's List.  We chose Juan Carlos based on his reviews, and he did not disappoint.
He was friendly, honest and straightforward.  He came out on a Friday to diagnose the problem, and came back on Monday to repair.  He showed us exactly what the problem was, and how he was going to fix it.  When he was done, he walked us through the finished product.
Our home inspector had told us that we should replace some polybutylene pipes, so we asked Juan Carlos about it when he was here.  He actually told us that if we were planning to do any renovations (the house is a little over 20 years old), we should wait on the pipes and do them at the same time (which would save us quite a bit of money).  He took the time to explain the concerns with our existing pipes, and why we could wait on the work.

"My Plumbing Heroes, owner Jonathan responded within minutes to my emergency call for help with a backed up sewer line and leaking toilet base. He arrived and promptly assessed the issues. He snaked the drain and got it flowing freely. Since the toilet ring needed replacing I asked if he could install a new toilet as well and he had one on his truck. He knows his business. He installed the new toilet. It looks great! He cleaned and sanitized the areas he worked in. The charges were very, very reasonable. Jonathan is very professional and personable. "We hired KBR Bethesda to completely do-over our guest bathroom and make updates to our master bath. We were very happy with the process of working with KBR from Sim’s initial visit to our home through completion of the work and thrilled with the results. In the guest bath, KBR removed the 27 year-old soffit fluorescent lighting; installed new vanity lighting; an additional outlet, replaced the vanities, vanity counter, tub and floor tile, tub, toilet. The vanities , counters and tiles they have to choose from are high quality and offer a good range of choices. In the master, they replaced the same soffit lighting; replaced the vanities and counter; installed new outlets (including one inside the tower cabinet between the two sinks); removed a medicine cabinet and repaired the wall. They replaced all the plumbing fixtures, vent fans in both baths and painted both rooms. Douglas and Carlos, our two primary workers, arrived early each morning and worked tirelessly all day, cleaning up at the end of each day. They made sure to consult with us on discretionary things, such as the placement of grab and towel bars. We cannot recommend KBR highly enough. Their price was fair and the quality of their work excellent."

"I contacted Granite Vision and spoke with Roni, explaining that because the vanity was in an awkward place in this small bathroom, I needed help to decide what was required. Joseph and another member came within a couple of days to assess the situation, make recommendations, and take measurements. Joseph then emailed pictures of various granite slabs since I was unable to get to their site, and within a week his team installed the top, offset sink, and my faucet. Both their installer and plumber readily answered all questions. Also, because I have add'l bathroom remodeling to do, I asked Joseph for any recommendations he may have for providers with whom he's worked who do smaller jobs and are good. "Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. Talk with Bill about the results you want. Listen to suggestions. Your results will be beyond anything you thought was possible."

"Tou did a great job with work if installment. BUT, I have not been informed that I need additional pieces needed to be installed for RELAC and they did next inspection and gave me pass certification.... is it reliable? This year RELAC people from Reston association came to tux the air condition issue that I had and they informed me that if I don’t have those pieces in the system, my house will get damaged and not good for my air quality. I contact Clover and they were not responsive and the response that they have given later was so unprofessional. I was happy with their service but finding this issue with my HVAC installation and their response made me decide not to work with them again. I thought that they were recommended with my Condo because they knew how RELAC work and the structure or how inspection passes. Obviously they don’t ... Thanks"
