"The owner came down to give us an estimate on what it would take to fix standing water issue in a house we were looking at purchasing. He performed a thorough inspection on what was causing the water to sit in the crawlspace and went over what would be required to keep the moisture and water from affecting the structural integrity of the house. While we did not end up purchasing the home, we greatly appreciated his willingness to come down and do an inspection and give us an estimate. They were recommended by my stepdad who had them do a crawlspace encapsulation on his house. He said they perform first class workmanship and were professional. "I needed to replace a large retaining wall which was protecting an outside stairway to my basement. The existing wall had gotten to the point where the wall was in danger of imminent collapse. Jeff Dame of J&D Masonry promptly returned my call for an estimate, showed up on time, and scheduled the work to be done promptly. I was very pleased with his workmanship and professionalism. He kept me well informed of each step in the process and promptly returned my phone calls, if I had a question. Although we did not discuss some of the construction details in advance, the wall he built was first rate---cinder block, poured concrete, rebar reinforcement. He also made several aesthetic upgrades to the wall he replaced. He even placed stucco on another wall that he did not replace, so it would match perfectly. When he was finished, the worksite was cleaned up to the point that it looked like he had never been there. Throughout the entire process he was pleasant to talk with and unhurried. His pricing was very reasonable and well below another estimate I had gotten. I do not think anyone else could have accomplished a better end result.
