"All went well. Some issues with the foundation were worse than thought so the work took a little longer but it was definitely needed. Part of an addition had been built without proper foundation as in none. It was hanging in air. They made an extra trip to replace and fix drains that had to be removed. Took extra care to make sure as little damage to carpet as possible. Terrance Blackwell and crew came for the outside work. They were great. I really appreciated Terrance's extra trip to make sure the drains were fixed. Austin Wells and Peter Dang came for basement floor lift and level and I greatly appreciated their extra effort to take care of the carpets even though they had to drill through the floor. "The restoration on the two wooden chairs was excellent.  I could not find any trace of the previous badly done repair.  Mr. Delgado managed to undo the splintered condition.  All scuffs were removed, the supports were fixed and the finish was matched perfectly.  The upholstery job on the cushions was less satisfactory.  Apparently Mr. Delgado farmed this work out to someone else who did not have such skill.  The cushions were notched so that added to the difficulty of sewing a cover, but the piping was uneven, there was some puckering in the corners of the seat piece, it appeared that something like a bit of glue got on the fabric,  and the zipper folds were uneven.  The upholsterer did not have sufficient skill.  The covers are good enough for the time being and no one will notice except me, but I will have another contractor do the cushions if they eventually need to be redone.
