"Lux foundation repair did a wonderful job at my home. I have 4 pipes coming into my home that had deteriorating seals around the pipe. The seals had deteriorated to the point that I had a large plastic box under the pipes so that after every rain I would collect the water that otherwise would have destroyed our finished basement. After small storms, I would collect a couple gallons, after very large storms, I would collect over 8 gallons of water in the box. I spoke to one contractor who suggested excavating the outside of the home. No small task since the pipes enter about 6’ below grade and it would have involved removing several established plants. I was surprised with the estimator from Lux informed me that they could solve the problem from inside the home. I was surprised that the estimator was very confident that he could not only fix the problem, but guarantee that it would fix the problem. "The restoration on the two wooden chairs was excellent.  I could not find any trace of the previous badly done repair.  Mr. Delgado managed to undo the splintered condition.  All scuffs were removed, the supports were fixed and the finish was matched perfectly.  The upholstery job on the cushions was less satisfactory.  Apparently Mr. Delgado farmed this work out to someone else who did not have such skill.  The cushions were notched so that added to the difficulty of sewing a cover, but the piping was uneven, there was some puckering in the corners of the seat piece, it appeared that something like a bit of glue got on the fabric,  and the zipper folds were uneven.  The upholsterer did not have sufficient skill.  The covers are good enough for the time being and no one will notice except me, but I will have another contractor do the cushions if they eventually need to be redone.
