"Jenkins Construction of Lancaster just finished up remodeling our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. The country home was almost 40 years old and looked every bit of it. They first had to tear out and replace part of the wallboard in the kitchen that had been damaged by water leakage. Then they had to remove wallpaper in the bathroom. Both of those were time consuming. Things moved along quickly after that. Both rooms were painted and new flooring installed. They also put in a new toilet, kitchen faucet, light fixture, and range hood. They were on time everyday and worked about 8 hours. The guys were very detailed as there was a lot of trim to remove and put back. The whole project was finished in about the time and at about the cost I had been given. Clean up was excellent everyday. Super pleased with their work and would hire them again."

The terms of the contract were precise and explicit. Once the job began, Rich started each day by telling us what he would be doing. We never felt in the dark about any aspect of the work. Courtesy: Given the expected disruption and inconvenience of this kind of project, the personalities of the people doing the work can make things easier or more difficult. Rich and all of his associates were unfailingly polite and pleasant. This seriously lessened the disruption in our lives while the work was being done. In fact, we began to look forward to Rich’s appearance each morning to brief us on the day’s work in his extremely cheerful and positive manner. Coordination: Since this was a complete remodel, the job involved Rich and his assistant, a cabinet maker for the new vanity, a plumber, an electrician, a painter, the people who built and installed the glass door for the shower, and the people who installed the new countertop. Every single one of these did their appointed job on the exact date promised by Rich; there was not a single exception. This speaks volumes about the relationship Rich has with his subcontractors. Craftsmanship: The new bathroom looks great. We do not have a single complaint with the quality of the workmanship (and we have looked over the final result very carefully). "The previous great reviews are well deserved, Our project was extensive including removal of ceramic and laminate to install new hardwood to match the wood they would refinish. The project included stairs as well. A very large open area. The finished project looks amazing. If you didn’t know the new wood wasn’t part of wood that existed prior, you’d never know. The new stain color is great and even. The stairs required a lot of work and it’s incredible. A week prior laminate planks were installed in a bath, laundry and mud/utility room. Just great. Everyone who worked on this project was very friendly, hard working and careful with their work, The owner is top-notch. He is meticulous and is very careful to be sure all work was completed to his high standard and if even a small detail is off—he makes sure it is corrected. He is one of those people when you meet him, your gut tells you he is trust-worthy. Very true. His pricing is very fair. (A different company quoted us nearly double . My gut had already told me not to trust the other company) We are very pleased with the quality of work, the professionalism of the company as a whole and pricing. Should receive more than 5 stars!"
