The issue with most siding companies is that they don't want to come out unless it’s a full blown siding replacement. We replaced some of the siding that was rotted, while most of the existing siding was still in good condition. This allowed us to install the new siding directly over the old, saving time and cost. Don’t let siding damage get too severe or rotted, because if that happens, we’ll need to remove all the old siding first, which can increase the project’s cost.
