"I was very, very pleased with Simply Clean! They were very responsive and delivered when they said they would. The gentlemen who performed the cleaning were courteous and professional. Plus, the price was right! I will be calling them back for another whole house rug cleaning again."

"I've been using Taylor Maid cleaning services for about 6 months now and decided to give them a try because TM had no availability when needed. Not only was Cylia Housekeeping cheaper for more time, the results were far superior. The two ladies that arrived cleaned EVERYTHING. They found and eliminated every single speckle of dirt in my home. Their attention to detail is breathtaking. I don't know what kind of magic cleaning products/techniques they use but things I thought would be stained permanently were brought back to life. These women went above and beyond the instructions I left for them. I really cannot stress enough how impressed I was with their service. Brought all of their own supplies, spent the entire booking on their feet working, and were extremely pleasant/easy to make an appointment with. Not a lot of cleaning services do weekend appointments for no extra charge so that was great as well !"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

While a biohazard cleanup sounds like a scary process, knowing what to expect can help ease your concerns and set you up for success. It’s good to note that more than one professional might be needed depending on your situation, but that will be determined during the assessment. What you can expect during a home biohazard cleanup is the following:

  • Assessment: The first step in this process is for a biohazard cleanup professional to assess the damage. They create a report that includes the biohazard safety level, the needed damage cleanup, and the time it should take to complete the project.

  • Setup: The cleanup professional prepares the site to prevent cross-contamination and reduce toxicity risk. This process can include tarping and creating decontamination zones.

  • Removal of surface contamination: Any contaminated materials are removed from the area, starting with large materials followed by small ones. The professional can assess any floor-related damage once everything is removed from the site.

  • Salvaging items: The biohazard cleanup professionals assess which items can be saved and which are contaminated beyond the point of saving. Those deemed unsafe will be disposed of immediately.

  • Waste disposal: The next step is carefully disposing of the hazardous waste. Your professional will place the contaminated items in specific containers to keep the contamination from spreading.

  • Disinfection: The house will be disinfected and odor-neutralized. Even more minor details, like light switches and bulbs, will be disinfected so that they do not recontaminate the area in the future.

  • Restoration: Once the decontamination is complete, the last step is to restore the home. This includes repairing the damage to flooring, walls, or even the home's foundation.

Cleaning behind your fridge once every three months is a good goal to stick to. This helps keep messes to a minimum and ensures it runs efficiently. Seasonal cleaning will also remove dropped food and food residue that can act as pest attractants, so keeping this area clean can help keep your household healthier, too.

It depends on the surface you’re trying to clean. For example, a mixture of vinegar and water is a good option for a deep cleaning, including removing hard water stains from glass or stainless steel. However, vinegar is too acidic for granite and other types of natural stone, so it’s better to use a combination of baking soda and water on those surfaces.

Yes. Every toaster is bound to accumulate a build-up of crumbs and food particles. If left unattended, these can turn into a fire hazard.

Comprehensive background checks and training programs are standard, ensuring reliable and quality service from your cleaning team.
