"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"The initial installation in 2009 was excellent.  I'm in the process of  selling my house and noticed that 2 windows had broken seals and several had bad springs so the windows would not stay up.  I called the owner, Jeff Fine, who came out promptly to review the issue.  He promptly reordered the windows to replace those with broken seals and replacement springs.  When the windows came iin from the manufacturer he came out promptly and took care of all the issues.  Prompt, courteous, professional service is hard to find now a days.  I highly recommend Eco Windows and Siding.

"Paul does great work, no doubt about it. You don't realize how bad most siding jobs are until you see one down well - like American Siding did for me. Several years later, and the siding looks the same as it did when installed. My neighbor had siding put on his house at the same time I had my cottages done, and the siding is already buckled and coming off in places. You get what you pay for."

"Josh was contacted through his former employer that no longer services the area who recommended him to renovate my entire home that I see he has pictures of on his profile. He did an amazing job with absolutely everything from adding a bonus nursery, flooring throughout the entire house along with custom trim! He provided me with a completely updated home that I couldn’t be happier with. Don’t hesitate to give this man a call. He’s super kind and willing to work with you the whole way. He even installed my appliances that arrived completely free of charge!"
Couple was expecting a baby and lived in a one bedroom loft. Upon examination of home it was determined to use this awkward, fairly unused space to create a quaint little nursery that can double as an office space/extra bedroom later down the road.

Homeowners wanted to provide seperation between the kitchen area and living room area while still keeping the "open layout" feel of the house. The remedy I provided was an open pass-through wall that could double as an extra area for guests to sit down and eat.

Siding questions, answered by experts

Vinyl siding is the cheapest option in terms of upfront costs. The average cost to install vinyl siding is around $12,173, with certain types like vinyl shake, clapboard, or dutch lap costing as little as $2 to $3 per square foot. While vinyl is very low-cost, it may not last as long as natural materials or metal, with a typical lifespan of 20 to 40 years. In contrast, metal siding is more expensive initially but can save you money in the long run due to its longer lifespan, which is often double that of vinyl. It's recommended to consult a siding professional to determine if the lowest-cost option is the best material for your specific home.

Bleach can be an option if you want to kill mold and mildew clinging to your siding. However, you must water bleach down to the right concentration of a 1/2 cup of bleach per gallon of water to avoid damaging your siding. Bleach can also harm plants in your yard and isn’t safe to use near pets, so employ it with caution.

Local pressure washing services often offer non-bleach options that can powerfully remove mold and mildew.

You should use a siding nail gun for siding installation, but if you don’t have one you can use a framing nailer instead, if the nails are long enough to firmly attach to the clapboard siding. However, framing requires longer nails that join lumber together. In that instance, siding nails will not be enough.

Mildew grows into porous wood, making it more difficult to remove than regular dirt (and more destructive). We suggest using a dedicated mildew and mold fungicide to remove mildew, which is found in any local home improvement store. Apply a dose of the fungicide to the siding and leave to work according to the instructions, usually for an hour or two. Then wash it thoroughly away and scrub the spot again. Repeat the process if necessary. If nothing is removing the mildew stains, you should plan on removing those clapboard planks in time, as their damage could cause future problems.

Composite siding is very resistant to warping that can affect some other sidings. Because of its composition, this siding doesn’t have the same risks of moisture damage that can cause rotting, buckling, and warping. Composite material doesn’t warp in high temperatures the way some kinds of vinyl siding can.

That said, composite siding is not entirely immune from moisture damage. It should still be properly installed so that moisture can properly drain from behind the siding, and protected by eaves and clean gutter so the siding doesn’t get repeatedly soaked by rain, which could lead to damage.
