"My husband and I came across 7th State Builders online. Eddie came out to our home for our initial consultation. He was punctual and professional. He listened to our vision and took the time to draw out a plan and explain the process. He was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. We decided to do a big project at our home. For the back: a rebuild and waterproofing of our previous deck and a large patio to go underneath it with a fire pit and sitting wall. The front of our house needed some repairs so we had them redo our sidewalk in the same patio pavers from the back. The whole area in front of our garage was cut out and they put in new concrete and leveled it out. They rerouted our gutters to prevent flooding as the previous design was doing damage to our foundation. The owner, Chase, was very hands on and kept us updated the whole time. He frequently made sure we were happy with the way things were going. The whole team made this project an enjoyable experience. "I would highly recommend EA Roofing and Siding LLC to anyone contemplating a roofing project. Prior to contracting with TJ, the owner of EA, I had spoken with him on various other roofing jobs he was performing throughout our community. On each occasion he took the time to answer my roofing questions with a high degree of knowledge and professionalism. When TJ began work on the second of my two neighbors' homes, I made the decision to work with EA Roofing on my roof replacement project. TJ paid a visit to our home and walked us through the various steps of the project, reviewed various samples/types of roofing shingles and provided us with excellent pricing on the project. In addition, TJ provided references and locations of roofing projects he had completed in the local area in order to assist us in making our final shingle selection. This was key in our selection of the proper color roof shingle as it provided us a means to not only see the shingles on a specific roof but also what the color of the shingles look like at various times of the day. Lastly, all of our questions were answered to allay any fears we had about moving forward with this large project. Our roofing project was completed in a single day with 10 men working on the roof from 7:00 am until nearly 7:00 pm. in the evening. All of the area surrounding my home was covered with tarpaulin. One of the men on the team cleaned up on an ongoing basis throughout the day so that by the time the project was completed in the evening, all debris (old underlayment, shingles, nails, etc.)had been removed from the surrounding area leaving the house in exactly the same state as it was when the project began at 7:00 am. Any and all issues/concerns were immediately addressed by TJ and his team in a punctual and professional manner. We couldn't be more pleased with TJ, EA Roofing, and our new roof!"

"My wife and I purchased our house about 18 months ago. Back in March of this past year, we discovered that the previous owner had concealed some rot in the exterior walls of the house that had come from a leak somewhere along the roof line. We were initially referred to Ben and his company by a friend of ours who he had done some previous work for. Ben came out, inspected the roof and determined told us he believed that the leak had been coming in around the chimney, but had been corrected by the previous owner.  We asked him at the time if he could handle repairing the wall, and he said that while they might be able to find a way to fix it, they were not comfortable taking the job because, not being framers, they did not want to take on the job and have to tell us later they could not complete it.  This actually very much impressed my wife and I, since most people we found to look at that project were more than happy to take the money even if they were not really qualified for the work.
Several months later, we started having water leaking into our house again, this time on the other side of the home. Given that we very much appreciated their honesty the first time, we called Ben and his company.  They came right out, rearranging their schedule to help us with the pool that was slowly forming in our bathroom. With the weather being extremely rainy, as well as other factors, Ben made several trips out to our home to ensure that they could accurately diagnose the problem. They discovered that while the primary problem was coming from a window we had recently had replaced, the company that had replaced the roof for the previous owner had cut some corners which was leading to all of the edges of the roof starting to rot. He took the time to actually take me and show me the problem and explain what caused it.  He gave us a few options, and in the end we decided to replace the roof to ensure we could fix the rot. Ben and his team came out on 17 July and were able to do all of the work needed in a day, including the pitched roof replacement, replacement of some of the gutters, repairs to a flat roof we have over an addition, and the installation of gutter toppers.  Additionally, our window company was supposed to come out on the same day to fix the window. When they did not show on time, Ben offered to fix the windows for us free of charge, if they didn't come by the end of the day just to make sure it was done right.
When the crew left, the property was spotless! And throughout the whole process, we had nothing but amazing service from Ben and the team. They go out of their way to explain everything to you and show you how and why they are doing what they are doing. We would highly recommend them to anyone!

Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.
