"Hugo and his team were prompt and professional. They painted my whole house and replaced some siding while they were at it. Their work was top quality and I look forward to hiring them for interior paint jobs next. A great asset to the Richmond area."

"Splash of Colors painted our house interior, including cathedral ceilings, stairwells, and ceilings. They helped with color suggestions and paint advice. Work was completed professionally and efficiently in one day, including preparation and cleanup. Great attention to detail. And they are the nicest and most caring people you will ever work with. We are thrilled with the results. Highly recommend their services."

Customers say: True professional

"We hired the Top Gun team to paint the interior of our home, and I mentioned during the final walkthrough with one of the owners, Will, that we wanted to get the exterior power washed as well. Will mentioned that his team does power washing, and got someone out the next day to do the job. The results look great! There was green algae on the siding, but it was all gone after they were done. They also took care of our sidewalk and concrete patio, and they look brand new. I'm about to get the interior of our previous house repainted prior to putting it on the market, and Will and the Top Gun team will be the first ones I reach out to for that project."

"Restart his crew were able to paint my one story vinyl sided home and update it from its dingy dark yellow to a fresh Agreeable gray. He was very knowledgeable about his Sherwin Williams Preferred products and was able to convince me (a hard bargain) in a more modern refreshing update. It was a pleasure to work with him and the Crew, very punctual and I love how he feeds his crew!! Looking forward to working with him on my investment properties this spring"

"Randee was great. Professional and courteous. Went on to work for my mom. Painted bedroom bathroom landryromm with all those cabinets. And cut out work! Did lots of work for my mom and referred other people I needed for other work like plumbing and lawn work. Great guy! Plan to call him again this week to do living room and shutters."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Sanding paint that contains lead is never safe, and sanding modern paints can still be hazardous. However, you can protect yourself by wearing a high-quality respirator during the process or by using a wet-sanding technique. You can wet the wall and then sand or use a wet sanding tool to achieve this.

Professionals handle heavy lifting, proper disposal, and recycling, reducing environmental impact.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

The easiest way to remove window decals is to soak the area in hot, soapy water. Let it sit for 15 minutes before scraping it with a plastic scraper or the edge of a credit card. You can also remove window decals with white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or applying heat from a hairdryer or steam cleaner.

Yes, paint thinner can damage some surfaces. Specifically, it can cause a lot of damage to laminate flooring if applied incorrectly.
