The company was started in 1951 as a partnership with Lloyd G. Flint, Jr. and two Realtors at Steptoe Patteson. Lloyd Flint developed and ran the construction end of the business. Flint redid the work because some pipes had been crushed when the first group backfilled the dirt. The moral of the story is to always get someone good."

"no professionalism..cigarette butts left on property, no tarps put on new floor when requested by me, resulting in globs and specks of drywall mud left to harden on my new floor, and when one was put down, it was filthy. all in all, sloppy, amaturish work, but most of all, the owner of KLM refused to attend to rusting screening that was put up less than six months agoby him in the porch, which is a safety hazard to children and pets, especially. he told me there was "nothing he could do about that.""

"We bought our house from Baxter builders new in October 2024. Since we bought our NEW house we have had nothing but bad communication, declines our phone calls, takes months to get remedies for issues that should have never been issues to begins with, and sub par Sub-contractors to fix the issues we?ve been having. Since we?ve moved in we?ve had muddy water, black mold growing in the basement, improper flashing and sealing around the basement walls, improper grading issues (which were stated in the home inspection and ignored to fix),and terrible craftsmanship and attention to detail on finish work inside. Once we finally got someone out to landscape, they never called 811 to locate known utilities in the area including water lines, electric and fiber. Since he never contacted, he cut our main water line into the house. His Plumber came to fix it and left our pressure tank suspended from the supply line since he never did a full inspection prior to leaving. "
