"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"Lee Burgwin has been my go-to plumber for years now. He has done every imaginable job for me. He has installed new traps for a frequently-clogged drain. He has replaced toilet and sink fixtures. He has installed a gas fireplace. He has come to repair an outdoor spigot that broke in freezing temperatures. He is professional, responsible, reasonably priced, and quick to respond. He guarantees all his work and is a nice guy. I cannot recommend him more highly."

"No matter how desperate you feel, DO NOT hire this company. In my experience, they created more problems than they solved, they left a colossal mess behind, and they did not keep their commitments. I hired them to replace a pump at a shared well. The day after their work, the pipes from the well to the homes served by that well had no water pressure. Absolute Plumbing told me that one of the pipes must have had a leak, but since they didn't know how to determine which one, they needed to replace all the pipes between the well and several houses for $25,000. Hmm, so two days prior, the pipes were fine, but then after Absolute replaced the pump, all the pipes had to be replaced? Isn't it suspicious that the pipes worked fine until Absolute showed up? But I was desperate. My tenants could not live in their homes since there was no water, and I had moved them into hotels. I paid Absolute $25,000 for the project to replace the pipes. If they had performed average work, I would have no complaints. Instead, they recklessly maneuvered around my property, causing still more damage to the property infrastructure which they didn't fix, and they failed to answer simple questions about the work they did despite telling me they would do so. I asked for a diagram of the pipes they had installed, and they told me they would provide it. After literally 14 documented requests by email and phone with the owner Jerry and other employees telling me again and again they would provide it, I finally got a scribbled picture accompanied by the words, "If you have any questions, let me know." Since the diagram was so crude, I asked questions. "I will look into this and get back to you," I was told. I followed up seven times, but never heard a word from them again. I filed a complaint with the seemingly illegitimate BBB in hopes that the company would finish its conversation with me, but that process did not result in any further answers from this toxic company. And what did Absolute Plumbing leave me with at the property? 1. They cut septic lines with their equipment but buried these instead of reporting them. I only learned of these cuts when tenants reported septic issues, so it was harder to fix since I had to dig up the earth again. 2. They destroyed a french drain by a house even though the tenant had stood at the edge of the house to tell the person with the excavator, "There is a french drain here, so you need to dig this area by hand." 3. Most egregiously, they destroyed the pump house in multiple ways. For some reason they tore the siding off the wall and ripped down the insulation from between the studs on the side where the pipes exited the structure and they never put it back together, but worse, they hit the building with their excavator knocking its framing out of square. I had to pay about $3000 to another contractor to rebuild the pump house. 4. And of course, they left a pile of project garbage on the property. Jerry, the owner, told me the worker who was sent to my property was subsequently fired by Absolute for doing such bad work. But even though that worker is gone, Jerry is still there. Jerry as owner is responsible for the disaster that they caused me. He is responsible for resolving problems caused by his employees' work. You cannot count on him. His approach remains a risk to every potential customer. This company was my nightmare. I provided the above text to Jerry before sharing this review. I also gave him a photo of the pump house wall that was just studs with insulation on the ground. He didn't dispute the facts. He says he helped me the best he could, his team worked after hours on the project, and that the pump house was in bad condition to begin with (uh, so you pull the wall down and leave it that way?)."

"To Whom It May Concern,   This is the worst company I have ever done business with and you can guarantee as soon as my tanks are empty I will be canceling my service!!!!!!!!!!! On Dec13 I went to bed with heat, I woke up with no heat. I go out and look at my tanks...one tank shows empty the other tank shows 80%...why am I out of gas?  I schedule a delivery Dec 21.  The gas gets delivered...I am not home (had no idea when they were showing up because they gave me a 5 day window). I get a text saying my gas was delivered....I think yay I am good to go, but to my surprise they had locked my tanks because my tanks were empty (again one tank showed 80%).  I did not go look at my tanks..why would I...I received the text so I am thinking something is wrong with my boiler. I call a technician to come and look at my boiler.  He checked and then went to check on the tanks and saw the note on the tanks saying they were locked so he couldn't do anything. So I call on Dec 26 to make an appointment to have them unlock my tanks..the incompetent folks that answer the phones said my appointment was on Dec 30 8-12 but I received an email saying it was on Tuesday January 2nd.  There is no way I would have accepted that date when I was on the phone because I am a school teacher and that was my first day back to work after winter break...so now I had to take off work. I was told I was the first appointment at 8:30 but by 10 still no technician. I started calling trying to get a hold of someone who could actually do something which as you know is impossible because this company doesn't want customers to talk to managers (incompetent workers). The technician FINALLY showed up at noon.  He was literally here for 10 min and I received a bill for over 300$ for that ten minutes.  The bill states  99$ for dispatch fee   220$ for gas leak check!!!!!!!! When you give a window of 5 days as to when they are going to deliver gas HOW CAN YOU EXPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER TO BE HOME???????????????? so if the customer is not home then they get fined/billed $319 because the technician had to come back. I could understand fining the customer if they said they would be home but they weren't but I had NO IDEA when they were coming to deliver my gas....If I had known, I would have been there.  I hope and pray that this company goes under and every management level and above lose their job. I have read your reviews after experiencing this and they are horrible so hopefully  my wish of this company going under will happen. I will be posting this review EVERYWHERE I can regarding this company!!!!!!! FYI...before the company got rid of the local offices this company was good."

Grill Repair questions, answered by experts

You’ll be in the best position to negotiate a hail damage claim if you thoroughly document the damage the hail caused to your property, file a claim immediately, and seek legal advice. It’s a good idea to keep images of your non-damaged property; that way, you have something to compare the damage to. As with many things, talking with a legal representative is the best way to make sure your interests are protected.

Depending on the materials and conditions of your house, flashing has a life span of 15 to 50 years. To ensure its longevity, schedule an inspection for your chimney and roof each year. A pro can quickly assess its condition and recommend repairs.

The paint on a metal roof will last for about 10 years (the metal roof itself has a life span of 40 to 70 years). After a decade, the metal roof’s color may be more noticeably faded, and chips and cracks may start to form in the paint.

Metal roofs have an excellent reputation for longevity. Including aluminum roofing, you can expect a metal roof to last between 40 and 80 years under normal conditions and with proper maintenance. That longevity can shorten in areas where salty air is a concern and not accounted for during installation to provide additional material protections.

Issues include leaking seams, rusting panels, loose fasteners, and denting from debris or weather, which can cause damage that requires intervention.
