The water piping looked as if it had been routed and assembled by five-year olds. The insulation for the piping (where required) is held on with duct tape that will surely dry out and come off in a couple of years.
We notified StyleCraft Homes (the builder), shortly after moving in, that water leaked under the faucets (all seven in the house) into the vanities or cabinets below when water was splashed on the countertops. Plumbright came to the house to respond to the warranty issue. The plumber's first response was to tell my wife that she was splashing too much water on the counter. When she asked that he seal the base of the faucets to the countertops he said he would do it for $240.
Next problem we had was with the sump pump. The sump pump was installed without the required check valve and as a result, ran almost continuously. The person that showed up to fix it not only showed up two hours late but didn't have the courtesy to phone my wife and let her know he was going to be late. After installing the check valve, that wasn't installed originally, he had the nerve tell my wife that the sump pump was running because the check valve was bad. In the process of installing the check valve he removed and failed to reinstall the bracing for the drain line.
I will never let these guys into my house again. I wish I could post photos to show examples of their work. The only reason they don't get an F is because water does come out of the faucets and the toilets do flush.
